No ordinary Surfer Boi (Cody Simpson)

Elli Heart is just an ordinary girl with an ordinary life. But all that changes when she accidentally bumps into Alli, younger sister of Australia's own 'teen popstar', Cody Simpson. Elli goes to the beach with her friends, Jake, Luke and Liv. Elli expected it to be just another normal day at the beach having fun surfing, laughing, swimming and talking with friends. But what happens that day, and the weeks to come, changes her life forever. In good ways and in bad ways. It turns her whole life upside down, she loses many relationships, gains relationships and loses the ones she loves most of all.

After bumping into Alli, Elli and Alli both hit it off really well and in no time become the best of friends. They realise that they now go to the same school and are in the same year level. They do everything best friends do, they shop, they go out and have fun, they talk about mainly anything and everything, they have all-nighters at each others houses, but then... 'The Day' comes. 'The Day' is when Elli and Liv's parents are involved in a car crash and die a few weeks later. That is the day when everything changes and goes wrong in her life. Elli stays at the hospital for weeks and weeks on end, but Liv doesn't come to the hospital anymore. She came once, then disappeared. A bit like what Jake did to her. He was always there for Elli, always had her back until that fatal day when everything changed. He didn't text her, he didn't call her, he didn't even visit her at the hospital! Then a coupe of days befor her parents death, he just her. Elli and Liv have always been the closest sisters ever imagined, but this one day tears them apart for what seems like forever. They have two choices after their parents die, they can stay with friends or relatives close by until old enough to live by themselves, or they can go to a foster home. They don't have any relatives close by, their aunt and uncle live in Sydney, and they don't want to live in a foster home. Luke, Livs boyfriend, tells her she can live with him and his family and offers Elli a place as well. Alli says she can live with her and her family, which Elli agrees to. Elli soon loses all contact with Liv, except stays in contact with Luke who is also trying to help Elli. The Simpsons' welcome Elli with open arms, and try to help her get her life back on track. She still goes to school with Alli and Cody, but becomes more and more depressed everyday. She gets quieter and quieter, becomes even more shy than usual. She barely ever laughs and smiles, but if you can make her smile or laugh then you're a pretty special person to her and everyone around her. She eventually stops eating less and less and becomes anorexic. But then, her life changes a bit again and looks brighter. And then everything comes crashing down again. The more time she spends with Cody, the closer the two of them get until they realize they have feelings for each other, but keep it to from everyone else, including each other.

This is a story about Love, Hurt, Drama, Friendship, Hardship and most importantly, Family.
