❦ Pippa's POV ❦
------------------
Saffron stared into his deep blue eyes and he stared back. I turned around just as they kissed and let out a deep sigh. Whatever, I don't need anyone. I gazed longingly into the distance.
Everything used to be perfect. I used to get everything I wanted; the money, the popularity, the boys... That was, until he came along. I glanced back at my sister and her fiancé and let out another sigh. Why didn’t he love me? He said it was just lust, not love. I wiped a tear from my face before anyone could notice.
I glanced around the hall; the engagement party was soon coming to a close and I had to do something. Rapid. I spotted his brother, James, on the other side of the room; a tall muscular man with golden-brown eyes and brown hair, slightly messed up with some jell. I waved at him and he smiled back. He looked so sexy in his suite, but not as good as Cameron. If I want Cameron, I have to get James....

❦ Harmony's POV ❦
----------------------
I took a deep breath and walked through the doors. I had to face everyone and I couldn't do it. I didn't care about my Dad's will; all I wanted was him to be here, with me right now and forever.
My Step-Mum and Step-Sisters turned to look at me. They all had sore, red, sympathetic eyes. But me? Mine were blank and showed no emotion. Why couldn't I cry? I took a seat next to my Step-Mum .
"You really don't care do you?" She hissed but I ignored her and locked my eyes on the man holding the last thing my Dad ever wrote. A tear rolled out the corner of my eye. Finally.
I wiped it away and told the Lawyer to start.
"Let's begin then." The lawyer sighed. "My Dearest wife, I have left you £20,000 in cash." He handed over an envelope containing £50 notes. What? How could he give my savings to... To her? She took the money and shot a victory smile at me.
In the old days witches would be drowned or burnt at the stake. If only it was the old days.
"What are you grinning at, child?" Gloria hissed. At the thought of you being burnt alive.
"Now, for my Step-Daughters, I leave my Memory and Love." The man handed a photo album over to the girls. I looked at their shocked faces. What a bunch of gold-diggers. I bet they killed my Dad. I know they killed my dad.
❧Flashback❧
The sun had set by now and the only light was from the old rusty one, hanging above my head. I looked at the officer, sitting on the opposite side of the table, blankly. I had no idea what was going on; the only thing I wanted was my Dad.
"Where's my Dad!?!?" I sobbed. "I haven't done anything wrong!"
"We know." He smiled sympathetically.
"Then why am I here and not with my Dad?"
"There is no easy way to say this but... your dad is dead." Your dad is dead; dead; he is dead. The words spun around my head, making it throb. A lump was forming in my throat and the world seemed to stop; for that one dull moment.
"No. He, he." My voice broke. My dad couldn't be dead. He just couldn't. I swallowed back the lump in my throat. Pull yourself together girl. This is obviously some kind of sick joke; you only saw him this morning and he seemed fine."I don't, I don't believe you!"
"I know it's a lot to take in." He paused. "Do you want to be left alone?" He said heading for the door.
"No. I need comforting." I whispered. Tears were now, literally, falling out of my eyes.
"I will get your Mum or your Sisters?"
"Step-Mum and Step-Sisters. No thanks. I have no-body anymore. The one person I trusted, the one person in the world who cared and loved me.... And now... and now he's dead." I was fighting back the tears again but it was getting harder.
"What about friends?" He suggested.
"I have one friend, one best friend; Dawn. My other best-friend Paige... she moved back to London. She said she didn't like the weather here in Australia." I started sobbing, not able to hold back my tears any longer, again. “Why am I in the police station though??”
Dawn never came in the end. I haven't seen her this holiday and don't know why she's mad but I plan on seeing her after the will; I will need somewhere to stay because my Step-Family don't want me and I don't know who my mum is. Maybe I could try and find my mum then??

The lawyer's voice brought me out of my day-dream and back into reality."And finally, For the one I love the most. I have left you everything; the house, the flat, the cars, the two horses, my money...."
"Wait? He has more money??" I asked shocked.
"Yes. It says £589,000 here." I shot my Step-Mum a Victory look and the Lawyer continued. "And my diary."
"This is obscured. She is only 16!" Gloria roared.
"18." I corrected her.
"Okay then, 18, but that's my house, my stuff, my clothes, my mo..."
"Actually it's mine now because my dad payed for all of it and he's left it to me!" I shouted. I lowered my voice and added. "Now, can I have the keys the house?"
"She can't do this, Can she mum?" Lydia asked.
"Actually she can." The lawyer sighed, once again.
They reluctantly handed over their keys. "I will let you live in the flat. No deposit, no rent. Just as long as you pay the bill. Oh and I guess killing my Dad wasn't worth it now was it?" I paused as she rolled her eyes. So bloody heartless. "He loved me no matter how much you hated me and tried to put me in the wrong." I handed them the keys to the flat, took my Dad's stuff, walked to the door with my head held high. My father may be dead but my dignity is still alive. Gloria grabbed my hand and spun my around.
"You really think you can get away with this? I will get that stuff one way or another!" A spray of spit splattered my face but I just wiped it away, kept my head up straight and walked out the doors. I'm not scared. No-way am I scared.
The cold, fresh, air hit me in the face as I took a big gulp of it. I stuck my hand out and let the snowflake melt on the palm. I looked around the nearly-empty car park, for the red pour-she and spotted it parked next to a black van. I walked towards the car, my heels making, clicking, noises every step I took. I got in the car and slammed the door shut. Placing my handbag on the seat next to me, I dug out my Dad's diary. A letter fell out, half torn off, but I caught it before it hit the floor of my car. Heartless bitches.
I started reading it aloud but only to a whisper." Dear Harmony, if you have this letter then I have died and since you are my youngest daughter..." Youngest daughter? I'm his only daughter? "You will inherit my Power first." I frowned at the piece of paper. Where was the rest of it? Maybe If I go back inside the building or retrace my steps? I searched my handbag; nothing. So, I stepped out of the car; my eyes still locked on the paper and frowning.
"You know it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile?" A male voice laughed. I tore my eyes from the letter. A tall muscular man with golden-brown eyes and brown hair, slightly messed up with some jell, stood before my eyes. "I'm James"
