I wake up by the knock on my door and yawn. What could be so important at 9 in the morning!? I open the door annoyed for being woke up, Wait- The maid is here? Did something bad happen?
"Good morning Ms. Lee. Why are you here?" I ask.
"I'm so sorry I woke you up but...
Your dad had a heart attack..."
"What!? Where is he!?" I start to panic.
"Ma'am calm down! He is at the hospital, We will take you to him as soon as they tell us to." She calms me down.

"I think it might be the hospital! I'll be back Ms. Kim." She go gets the phone.
"Mhm... Yes, Yes... Oh ok! I'll tell her right away! Thank you." She talks on the phone.
"Ms. Kim, You should go change. They said you can go visit him." She told me.
I nodded and went to change. What could I wear... Oh! This dress my father gave me for my birthday, I never wore it...

"Here Jeonji, Take this dress... It was your mother's dress. I bet she would be so happy if you wore it." Dad said.
"Thank you dad! I'll wear it later." I threw the dress with my other clothes.
"Thank you darling, C'mon lets go cut the cake." He tells me.
I nodded and went to the cake.

I put on the dress and get in the limousine. We drive to the hospital and I get out, Here we go...
The nurses take me to my dad's room. And tell me if I need anything I click the button on the wall. I nodded and said 'Thank you'.
"Dad..?" I say.
"Jeonji? Is that you...?" He asked.
"Yes its me, dad." I answer.
"You are wearing the dress I gave you, You look so pretty in it." He looks at my dress.
"Thank you, dad." I respond.
"Jeonji... Can you promise me something?" He asks.
"Yeah?" I say.
"Promise me that you won't cry when I die." He says.
"I pinky promise, dad..." I promise him.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
"Dad...!?" I say worried.
"Dad! Please don't die!" I start to cry.
BEEP......
"DAD....!" I scream and start clicking the button.
"Ma'am please get out of the room." They push me out.
I look in the window and start cleaning my tears.
"I promise...
I won't cry."
