"Billie, you're 15. When are you going to live your life again?" Olivia argued, "I am living my life! I'm traveling around the world and I'm with you and-" Billie shortly got cut off by Olivia's response. "But are you living your life for you or for your managers?" She spat, glaring Billie down to the point that her strong expression melted into one more soft and distant.

She was 13 when Ocean eyes came out, 14 when she was thrown in front of a camera with some makeup she never wanted, now 15 doing interviews, tour shows, and making songs all at the same time. She wasn't meant to do this but she had no choice if she wanted to follow her dreams.

Her eyes started to water, she realized that part of her childhood was taken away and she just accepted it without question. She can barely hang out with friends anymore, they're all too afraid of getting mobbed or used because of her.

"C-can you call in my mom?" She whispered. Olivia nodded and called in Maggie, and respectively waited outside.

[Billie's View]
"Mom, call California records and tell them I'm done." I said sternly,
"But honey are you sure?" She asked kindly, but it just felt like yet another adult was talking down to her.
"I'm very sure. Cut. Them. Off." I emphasized
My mom simply nodded and headed back outside, phone in hand.

[Maggie's View]
"Hello? Oh hi Danny! Uhm so I was just talking to Billie and she decided that she doesn't want to work for California records anymore." I gulped,
"Hi Maggie! Remember the contract you signed?" Dan asked, "As much as we would love to make you guys happy, sadly you signed a contract that goes on for 10 years! So as soon as Billie turns 23 you are all free to go. Is there anything wrong we could fix?" He pitied, leaving an open gesture.
"Can you please at least extend the album's due date by a few days?" I asked,
"No I'm afraid we can't do that Ms.Baird. You see, the people are waiting o-" I hung up the phone out of pure anger, and pulled Olivia away from the rest.

"So I talked to Dan and he said the contract isn't over, Billie can't quit until she's 23." I explained. Olivia furrowed her brows, "What do you mean until she's 23?" She yelled. I quickly hushed her so Billie wouldn't hear, so she repeated herself in a whisper. "What do you mean until she's 23?" I sighed and answered, "well dear we signed a contract when we joined and it's for 10 years, she was 13 when we signed it so now we have to wait 10 more years."

Olivia rolled her eyes and took a deep breath, she quickly asked me what record company she was connected to. She stomps out the door as soon as I tell her.
