Best Birthday Ever

We ended up on the roof which was also beautifully decorated. I was busy admiring it and I turned around only to see Jungkook kneeled down on one knee with a rose in his hand.

Me: W-what are you doing Jungkook?

Jungkook: Y/N..... I've been meaning to say this for a really long time now, I just can't keep it in any longer. From the day I laid eyes on you, I instantly fell in love with you. I just couldn't help it, you were too beautiful for me to resist and once I got to know you more, I noticed that you were beautiful inside and outside. Everyday, I would go to sleep thinking about you and waking up the same way, trying so hard to figure out how I could become even more closer to you.

Me: J-jungkook. What are you saying?

Jungkook: What I'm trying to say is that I love you Y/N. Will you be my girlfriend?

Me: W-what?

Jungkook: I'm tired of being just friends. I want to be more than that. I would get so excited knowing I'm going to see you soon and see your beautiful face. Yes I know, you must think I'm an absolute idiot now. *scoff*  What was I thinking? Jeon Y/N going out with a guy like me? I'm sorry Y/N, I couldn't keep your feelings inside me anymore. I just said it because there are many guys out there wanting to marry you and I didn't want to lose you.

I hugged him tightly whilst there was tears in my eyes.

Me: Jungkook......Don't say that. You're never going to lose me. You're the most perfect man in my eyes.

Jungkook: No you're just saying that. I can never date someone like y--

I stopped him mid-sentence by slamming my lips onto his. Then I slowly pulled out only to see Jungkook's shocked face.

Me: Don't ever say that. And yes, I would love to be your girlfriend.

Jungkook's eyes widened even more.

Jungkook: R-really?! Oh my god!! I love you so much Y/N!!

He stood up and picked me up and spinning me around.

Me: Jungkook stop!!! I'm getting dizzy!!

He then slowly put me down and hugged me tightly.

Jungkook: Sorry, I just got excited. I can't believe this. You're finally mine. You belong to me now.

He kissed me on the lips but this time, passionately.

Me: I love you so much Jungkook

Jungkook: I love you more Y/N. Shall we sneak out and get some ice cream since everybody's sleeping?

Me: Is that even a question?! Of course, let's go!!

He chuckled at my cuteness and we left the rooftop and Jungkook drove us to the ice cream parlour.

We finally arrived and surprisingly there was no one there, except us. Well it is 11:45 in the night. I'm surprised it is still open.

We sat down at a table in the corner and ordered our ice creams. I got mint chocolate and Jungkook got 'kookies' and cream ( Get it? No, ok I'll stop ).

We were having such a great time together and I couldn't ask for more. This is the best birthday ever.

After about half an hour, it was time to go home. I was exhausted from today and so was Jungkook.

It took about 15 minutes to get home and everybody was still in a deep sleep. We silently went to my room to sleep.

I took a quick shower and then got changed and got into bed, next to Jungkook.

I gave Jungkook a peck on his lips and said

Me: Jungkook....

Jungkook: Hmm?

Me: Thank you much for today. It was the best day of my life.

Jungkook: No problem baby. You don't need to thank me. I'm glad you had fun today.

He gave me a kiss on my forehead.

Jungkook: Let's head to sleep now, it's getting late and we won't be able to get up early tomorrow. Good night babe.

Me: You're right. Good night babe.

He turned off the lights and then we both drifted off into a deep sleep.
