Midoriya's P.O.V.

It had been 2 days since the 'I almost got kidnapped and died' incident. Todoroki and Kacchan have been very protective of me, and went with me almost everywhere. It didn't bother me too much though.

The thing I was most worried about when they came with me was that they had their guns on them. In case someone tried attacking us, of course.

The only thing they would let me do alone was be in the house, if all the windows and doors were locked and shut completely.

Since they are in the Mafia, the leaders of one to be exact, they both leave the house about once a week for a meeting. This leaves me alone for the time period that they're gone.

It's super peaceful when it's just me in the house, but I have been sort of paranoid. I mean, who wouldn't when they almost got kidnapped and/or murdered a few days prior.

We have a fenced in backyard outside, so I asked them if it was alright to still go out there. They told me it was, and Shoto ensured I knew if I went out there to immediately lock it after coming back inside.

Today was one of the days I was alone in the house, so I wanted to go outside and watch the birds fly around. One of my favorite lonely-house-day activities is to watch the nature around me.

I head outside on the patio, sitting on the bench which had an umbrella overshadowing it.

Our backyard was beautiful. I had hung up a bunch and birdhouses and bird feeders in the trees. Every year the birds come and nest in them. It's comforting to know they have a nice, safe home to live in.

There was also a small centered garden which housed a bird bath. One of the cutest things in the world is watching birds take baths.

Sometimes a bunny will find a way into the yard through the gate, and I love it when they do. I've always wanted to have a pet bunny.

I love the way they hop around and flop their ears around everywhere. They may steal and eat some of our plants, but it's worth it if I get to watch them cutely hop around.

Two birds whiz bye, circling around and playing with each other.

I decide it's about time to go inside.

I lock the back door behind me, and check the clock. 4:21PM. That means Todoroki and Kacchan should be home soon.

As if on cue, the lock clicks on the front door and they enter the house. Shoto holds the door open for Kacchan.

"Hey Kitten. Did you have a good day today? I hope you weren't too lonely." Shoto asks me.

"Not at all. I sat outside for a bit watching the nature." I reply with a soft smile.

Kacchan interrupts, saying "I'm pretty tired, I'm going to head bed. Sorry if it's abrupt, I didn't sleep very well last night. Love you guys."

"It's alright, Kacchan. Have a good sleep!" I reply back at him.

"Yes, Goodnight Babe." Todoroki also bids him good night.

"Guess it's just you and me hanging out tonight, Shoto!"

"I suppose it is. What would you like to do?" Todoroki softly smiles.

"Dinner? We can have leftovers."

"Sounds good to me."

Shoto sits down at the dinner table as I grab some leftovers from last night- we had sushi.

I join Shoto at the dinner table, handing him some. He thanks me, and continued on to eat. I do the same.

"I thought tonight we all three could go to the park and hangout there, but since Bakugou is sleeping, just you and me could go." Shoto breaks the silence.

"That would be so much fun! Thanks, Shoucchan."

"It's no problem. You have been stuck inside the house for a while. We can leave in about fifteen minutes or so."

"Perfect."

After fifteen minutes or so pass by, I grab my shoes and put them on my feet. Shoto does the same.

I open the front door for him, and walk behind him on the doorsteps until we can walk beside each other on the sidewalk.

We casually banter on the way to the park. Once we get there, I point toward a nice tree to sit under. We head over there, sitting right beside each other.

I lay my head on his shoulder, and look at the beautiful sunset. He leans his head back against the tree, petting my head. Shoto also looks into the sunset. It's a mix of oranges, pinks, and some variation of reds.

"How did I get so lucky with you, Izuku?" Shoto questions.

"I should be asking you that, handsome." I reply back.

"Oh stop that. You know you're the cutest one here. Hell, you're the cutest person in the whole universe!"

I chuckle at his comment and reply back.

"Maybe I am, maybe not, but you're definitely the hottest. That goes without say."

We laugh together, and keep trying to beat each other's compliments until it turns into us just complimenting an unaware sleeping Bakugou.

"I love you, Kitten." Shoto says to me, kissing my forehead.

"I love you too, Shoucchan." I lean into his arm.

"I wish Bakugou could've come with us."

"I do too, but he did seem stressed and tired at our work meeting."

"I'm glad he made the right choice and got some rest."

"Me too. These past few weeks at work have been extra stressful."

"Yeah. It must be hard on you guys."

Shoto hums his response to me saying that, as we watch the stars.

(A/N: It hasn't even been a week and this book has already hit above 100 reads!! Thank you all so much!)
