Surfer Steve walked to the crab shack to get a burger. A tofu  burger of course, because were cruelty-free in this Hipster town.
He walked past some high school buds and shot them a gnarly wave sign. "Hey bruh" he said, "goin to Cassie's party later?"
"Oh yeah, it's gonna be the biggest shin dig this town will have this summer, you?"
"Totally bruh, catch ya later"
They nodded at each other like real bros do and walked away.
Then he saw her. Tatiana. The cutest girl at school bruh.
DAMN. Who is that? Is that.... Chad?! Ugh, Steve hated Chad with a passion. He has been rivaling against him the second they stepped foot into Joseph R. Captain High school. I remember it like it was yesterday.....

Ah yes, it all began with the morning announcements....
"Arrrrrrrreeee you ready for the day kids?!" Captain blared through the speakers. Most kids shoved their heads in their book bags for this portion of the day. "Aye aye captain" yelled the enthusiastic go-getters. "I can't hear you!" .... "no literally, I don't think anyone's saying anything but today we have a few special events" and he went on about the football team, swim team and the PirateGO* club's informative meetings. Just as he started to hand the mic off to a student to speak about other nonsense going on in the school, Chad walked in. As soon as he did, Steve couldn't help but glare. He knew right away that there would be a problem.
Chad glanced at Tatiana and she swooned over him. He winked at her and Steve's stomach twisted. He had a plan planned out to get Tatiana's attention and ask her on a date finally, and it all began with the party in a few days. Whoever this new guy was, he didn't like him. Not one bit.
