Kurt woke alone the next morning. He wasn't too concerned though, he had a feeling in his core that he'd see Blaine again. Preferably more often...

A few hours later:
Kurt pulled into the school parking lot and sat in his car until the football team would be inside. He had it down to a science now. Arrive at 7:05, football team would be inside by 7:10, the bell rings at 7:15.

At 7:10, Kurt exited his car and cautiously strolled in. As he went through the door, his body was shoved to the side. A hand wrapping around his arm and dragging him down the hall.

"Hey! Let me go!" Kurt yelled hitting the arm of the person, Dave Karofsky.
"You heard him, let him go," a voice called from behind them. Kurt sighed in relief.
Karofsky whipped around and froze, Kurt had a clear view of the person and felt his blood run cold. It was Sebastian Smyth.
Karofsky complied almost robotically.
"Now leave," Smyth added with a little 'shoo-ing' motion.
Again, Karofsky complied.
"You," Kurt seethed. Sebastian crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side, examining Kurt.
"That's not a very nice way to speak to your protector," Sebastian said.
"Protector? Like hell!" Kurt said turning in his heals.
"Close darling, but not quite," Smyth said appearing in front of Kurt. Kurt glared at him with all the hatred he could muster.
"What do you want?" Kurt hissed. Sebastian sighed.
"Like I said, to protect you," he responded.
"The only monster I see here, is you," Kurt quipped.
"I may look like a monster, but the real monster is right under your nose," Sebastian said tapping his nose. Kurt wrinkled his nose in disgust.
"Those angels, aren't real. They only want you to turn you into some sacrificial lamb. They only want to use you for their personal gain," Sebastian says invading Kurt's space.
Kurt stared at him, his expression stone cold.
"I don't believe you. You're noting but a murderer," Kurt whispered pushing past him.
"Ask Anderson about the prophecy, more specifically about the 'Great Elder' then come talk to me," Sebastian called to Kurt's retreating back.
Kurt stopped and glanced behind him.
"Murderer," Kurt called before the bell rang. Sebastian disappeared in the crowd.
.......................................
Kurt returned home after a relatively normal school day, minus the Smyth encounter.
He went downstairs to his room and was greeted by Blaine.
"Oh!" Kurt gasped in surprise. Then he became angry.
"You know, I wish you would all leave me alone! Just stay out of my life. I am so sick of being in the middle of heaven and hell or whatever this is! You just think you can come in whenever you like or invade my mind like I'm some kind of boarding station, but I'm not!" Kurt rants throwing his hands up. Blaine looks worried as he approaches the raging teen.

"Kurt, I-I texted you and when you didn't respond all day I became worried. I can sense your physical health, which is obviously fine. But I told you that I would never invade your mind. I was worried about you," Blaine says taking Kurt's trembling hands in his.

"Kurt, what happened today?" Blaine coaxes.

"Blaine, what's the 'Great Elder'?" Kurt asks. Blaine sighs and looks down at their entwined hands.

"Maybe we should sit down for this," Blaine says cautiously. Then Kurt knows, there was at least a little truth to Sebastian's tale.
