- Liam -

After I had a talk with Alexa's dad on the phone about how France is doing, I quickly went up to her room to check her.

So, I knocked on the door and when she opened it, her eyes were puffy and bloodshot. I was quite shocked on her appearance because I've never seen her this worst before though we barely see each other.

I went inside her room and asked her a few questions about what happened to her. She started to sob in front of me until she felt dizzy and turns out to be unconscious.

I quickly carried her small, weak body to my car since Kristine isn't here and she is with Denis.

I quickly drove at the hospital and asked a stretcher to the duty-nurse outside the ER. I lay her body on the white, flat bed and she was headed straight to the main ER. I was just outside, waiting for an announcement of her condition.

I sat there while my tears started to stream down on my face. I didn't know why I was crying in the first place. Its been such a long time since I last cried but for now, I don't know the damn reason why am I crying.

Maybe because I don't want to see her like this. It's obviously not my fault when she cried because I just asked her a question but answered me with a painful sob.

"Sir?" Someone called in front of me and I quickly stood up as I wipe away the tears that has left traces on my cheeks.

"Yes, doctor?" I asked.

"Are you a relative or a friend?" He asked me as he looked at me.

"A friend." I said. Although I'm the fiance.

"We have observed her conditions. It was nearly fine but she was very sick. She experienced nose bleed inside the ER but she's totally fine. She have a fever right now and it is 40.5. She must've been too weak because I think she haven't eat since yesterday, based on our monitoring session about her health." The doctor explained.

"Will she be confined for today and so?" I asked.

"Definitely, positive. She need to be monitored everyday so we could observe her about how she's recovering." He told me.

"Okay, is that all the information you can share to me?" I asked him.

"Perhaps, yes. Maybe I should go back there." He dismissed himself and walked away.

I slowly backed away and sat in the chair behind me. I pulled out my phone and dialled her father's number.

"Liam, is something wrong?" He asked on the phone.

"It's Alexa. She's at the hospital right now. The doctor said, she have fever. Perhaps, high fever." I said.

"Shit." He muttered on the phone.

"How is she doing right now?" He asked.

"I still don't know, actually. I'm outside and they won't let me in. Maybe I could just call you for her condition." I said while breathing heavily.

"Okay, okay. Thank you so much Liam. Where is Harry by the way?" He asked.

"I don't even know where the hell is he. He just said he will fix his and Alexa's enrollment. I was wondering what is taking him so long though the enrolling process is fast enough. He isn't with us when we went home." I honestly told him.

"Okay. Just update me whenever you had a chance. I won't mind even if you call me in the middle of a damn meeting." He chuckled.

"Wait, may I ask where are you?" I said.
