I can hardly take this anymore. My heart beats faster with each second. I feel like he might like me, too.
I see his bracelet. He complimented my toe nails, which are very gay and rainbowy. A male having painted nails is often stereotyped with gay males, and he complimented them, so he is definitely NOT homophobic.
So why not just try it? Maybe... I sigh and gently touch his fingers. He is aware of the feeling, but doesn't move away. We slowly inch our fingers towards the others until our palms touch and we are holding hands.
I look over at him and he is blushing like crazy. I have to do it now, no turning back.
I look over at Nico, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
