"Oh my god, you have to see this." Javiera said with a mischevious smile as she fished out a photo from the bottom of the box.

"Ok, so... here's a picture of him dressed up as a mermaid!" She screeched, trying to fight back her laugh as she handed you the photo.

Your mouth dropped open at the sight of the most adorable thing you've ever seen: Pedro as a little boy, wearing fishtail.

The giggling came to a sudden halt as Pedro stormed into the room and wrenched the photo out of your hands.

"Merman! I was a merman and I can't believe you showed her that picture! You're not my sister anymore." He snarled and strode across the room forward to the balcony.

"Drama queen!" Javi yelled laughing at Pedro who rose a middle finger to her as a response.

Pedro and you had been dating for a while but it wasn't really clear where your relationship was going. That's why his idea to meet his sister took you by surprise. You felt nervous at first but as it turned out, you had nothing to fear. Javiera had a very nice personality and soon the formal discussion became natural and spontaneous.

On the other hand, Pedro was anxious. You didn't know but he was nervous too about the meeting. Not just because he cared about his sister's opinion but because he was very aware of his own feelings but wasn't sure about yours.

"Oh, c'mon Pedro, don't take it so seriously. You looked such a cute mermaid." You whispered curling your arms around his torso from behind.

"Merman!" He pouted.

"Merman, of course. I'm sorry."

"It doesn't matter, anyway."

"Are you upset?"

"No."

"Yes, you are."

"Ok, I am. Apparently, I don't like my siblings making fun of me in front of my girlfriend." He blurted then felt his cheekbones burn red in a second. His heart was a drum in his chest, thumping frantically under your palms.

"Girlfriend?" You repeated quietly.

"I mean..." Pedro turned, clasping your hands in his. Cheeks flushed, eyes wide open. "Sorry, I-I know we haven't talked about it, I just..."

"No, no it's ok!" You smiled sneaking your hands behind his neck and knocking your forehead against his.

"Let us call things what they are. Girlfriends are girlfriends and... mermen are half-man half-fish creatures wearing shell bra." You teased him, peeking up devilishly through your lashes.

"Uh! Excuse me, but that was my armor!"

"Of course, it was. A very very pretty one with shiny sequins on it."

"Fish scales! Jesus, Y/N, if you're planning to continue mocking me I swear I'll make sure you regret it."

"Oh, really? How are you gonna do that?"

He said nothing but pulled you flush against his strong chest, having your body weak in an instant. You always wondered how could the single proximity of his body has such a strong effect on you. Your skin burst out in goosebumps as you closed your eyes ready to the sweet sensation of your boyfriend's lips on yours.

The quick, wet touch of his tongue running along your lips was as unexpected as delicious.

"I have my tricks." He purred against your hungry mouth then pulled away with a big, satisfied grin on his face.

"How dare you?!"

"I warned you."

"Give me that kiss!"

"No."

"You can't do this to me."

"What did you see in the picture?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and you knew immediately what he wanted to hear.

"I saw a... big, strong and very masculine... merman." You answered with a smile he found absolutely irresistible.

The feather-like touch of his mouth sent shudder down your spine as he ghosted it over your already quivering lips. But this time, he didn't stop.
