The Talk (episode 3)

Skyler stayed outside waiting for Wolfie to go to the bathroom as he finished up she open the door. Wolfe ran front of her as she walked in to see Caroline and Damon in the kitchen walking to the living room.

"Star!" Caroline said running over to her best friend hugging her. "Where have you been? I came over to see you and bother Elena."

"I was at the orphanage. I had to get Wolfe." Skyler said as Wolfe was getting petted by Damon.

"Come on." Caroline said pulling her in to the kitchen. "Did you eat today?"

Avoiding the question not wanting to get a lecture she talk to Damon, "Hello, Damon."

"Hello Skyler. You have a wonderful home." Damon said standing up.

"Star." Caroline said in a stern voice "Did you eat today?" Skyler looked down letting Caroline know the answer.

Caroline shook her head making her a plate. "You have to eat, Skyler." Caroline said as Damon listened with interest.

What they didn't know was that Stefan was listening too.

"I was busy." Skyler mumbled taking off her jacket and putting her bag on the table.

"Oh so you couldn't stop and have breakfast or lunch or dinner. Skyler if Jake was here he would be mad and forcing you to eat." Caroline said angrily grabbing the plate walking into the living room standing waiting for Damon and Skyler.

Skyler sighed mumbling, "Great she's mad at me."

"I'm sure she'll get over it." Damon told her walking in the living room with Skyler falling behind.

Damon sat down with Caroline on his lap as Skyler sat on the couch beside a uncomfortable Elena.

Caroline handed Skyler her plate with a 'eat it or else' look. Skyler sighed before eating.

Caroline then started to talk. "I can not believe that Tanner let you on the team. Tyler must be seething. But good for you; go for it." putting her cup down.

Skyler watched laughing a little bit as she ate her food. Caroline was always like this and she liked that about Caroline. That's what made her unique.

"That's what I'm always telling him. You have to engage; you can't always just sit there and wait for life to come to you. You have to go get it." Damon said making Skyler smile a little.

She thought it was amazing how Damon cared for his brother. To her it was like her, Jermey, and Jake.

"Yeah, Elena wasn't so lucky to day. It's only because you missed summer camp. I don't know how your going to learn the routine I mean Star's not even on the team and she got the routine perfectly." Caroline said making Bonnie angry, Elena annoyed, and Skyler blush while choking on her food.

"I'll work with her; she'll get it." Bonnie said before adding, "And Skyler's stayed over at your house a lot. I'm pretty sure you made her practice with you."

Skyler sighed because it was kind of true. Skyler was over at Caroline's house a lot but Caroline didn't make her practice with her; Sky just watched.

Caroline glared at Bonnie not liking her talking about her best friend. "We could put you and Elena in the back. Star can be lead with me." Caroline said with a sticky sweet smile on her face.
