Cora and Elizabeth don't live among the wealthy people of the city. They reside in the ring of the poor, surrounded by lurking dangers.
Safe and hidden behind a wall of the poor's homes, the rich pamper themselves. Honored and cared for, they look down on those who struggle to survive. Cora and Liz made an oath. Never to betray one another.
Deciding to help the rest of the poor, they set up to try and help their community. Then Liz disappears, and Cora is left alone. If one is gone, how will the other cope?
