Ninepaw followed ThunderClan's scent as they traveled to The Fourtrees. This would be her first time to a gathering! She felt as if her heart was going to beat out of her chest. Though she was slightly confused, she had heard there were eight Clans. But the only Clans she knew of were WindClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan. And she was pretty worried. Would Brokenstar mention Yellowfang? Did he know ThunderClan was keeping her captive? Also, what happened to WindClan?
Ninepaw sighed, it was probably nothing.

Ninepaw was pretty overwhelmed by the sea of cats at the gathering, so she stayed close to Firepaw and Graypaw. The gathering didn't go too well. Brokenstar wanted the Clans to give up some of there territories so ShadowClan would have more prey, and he even told everyone of Yellowfang and that she's dangerous. Also, the four other Clans—StormClan, OceanClan, DarkClan, and LightnighClan—had been dealing with Two-Leg problems. Apparently, the two-legs have been bringing in these big yellow monsters that claw the trees out of there roots, and the two-legs have been poisoning their water. Once ThunderClan got back and went to sleep, Ninepaw stood up for a little while with questions jumbling in her head.
Would Brokenstar found out about Yellowfang?
If ThunderClan didn't give up some of there territory would Brokenstar attack them?
Was it a bad idea to take Yellowfang in?
What will happen to StormClan, OceanClan, DarkClan, and LightningClan? Would they have to indure the stuff two-legs are doing to their homes?
Ninepaw sighed, hopefully everything will ease down soon.

(Yes, I know this chapter is pretty short and bad, but I had to go off of memory and just look through Into the Wild, so don't get angry at me if I got something wrong. But yes, you can call me out if I did get something wrong. And yes, there are four more Clans in this book and it's going to stay like that for a little while.)
