             Jinyoung x Reader

It was a lazy Monday afternoon in the Y/n household. She had been watching her favorite k-drama, Romance is a bonus book(really good) and fangirling about Lee Jong-suk. "WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE" Y/n was screaming at her laptop when Lee appeared when she got a message.

Cheek Pockets🐿: Hey, meet me at the café by your house, I have to tell you something.
Y/n-ah💙: Be there in 10!

You jumped from your bed and into your closet. Jinyoung and you have been best friends since middle school but lately he has been a bit distant with you. Every time you would invite him to hang out he would always say the same thing "I'm busy", it made you happy that he wanted to meet up.

You got dressed in some grey biker shorts, a white pullover and your white nikes. You headed to the café and waited for Jinyoung. While waiting you couldn't help but think about him, his voice, his hair, his laugh. Throughout your years of friendship you started to catch feelings for the vocalist, everything about him was perfect in your eyes.

You saw Jinyoung enter the café and waved him over, he looked at you and gave you a little nod. You exchanged hellos and ordered a drink. The drinks came and you looked at him. "So, what did you have to tell me" he looked down and cleared his throat. "Um, well, I-I wanted to say that we have been best friends for a while and I wanted to tell you that I don't want to be your friend anymore"

"What are you saying?, What do you mean? We've been friends for years, why don't you want to be friends, was it something I said? Did I do something? Jinyoung, please tell me you're kidding with me, you're the only friend I have that I completely trust", You rambled on and on not believing anything he had said. Why would he want to be friends with me? You tried to think about everything that had happened recently but nothing pointed out 'he doesn't like you anymore'.

"Y/n, shut up. I meant that I don't want to be just friends, I mean that I've liked you for a long time now and I just had to get it out of my chest. I don't want to he friends because I want to be more than friends" Jinyoung grabbed your hands intertwining your fingers together. Jinyoung made eye contact with you and you could see a faint blush in his cheeks.

"What I'm trying to say is, Y/n will you be my girlfriend?" You felt the blood rush to your cheeks. This was everything you wanted, you always watched dramas where the guy confesses to the girl in a café and not it's happening to you. It almost feels unreal until you hear Jinyoung say "It's okay if you don't feel the same way, I just wanted to get it off my chest" his sweet voice cut you out of your thoughts, "Yes, yes I will" you practically yelled, you cleared your throat, making your voice softer, "I mean yes, I will be your girlfriend".

Jinyoung looked relieved by your answer and gave you a cute smile "Really? I didn't expect you to like me back" He chuckled and started at your eyes, "Well, how could I possibly say no to those adorable cheek pockets" you poked his cheeks and giggled.

After an hour they returned home and watched a movie. Half way through the movie Y/n fell asleep on Jinyoung's chest. He looked down at her and brought her close knowing that she was finally his. He kissed her goodnight, falling asleep with a smile on his face.
