Pick me pick me up(renjun and jaemin)

(Sunny day)

You and renjun were walking around the park just talking about a project for school.. then jaemin, your childhood friend came a long.

"What's up! Y/n?" Jaemin said. He goes to and high five you.

"We were just talking about the project.. are you gonna contribute?" You asked while giving him the high five.

Cause jaemin doesn't usually contributes to any school projects.

"Umm..." jaemin gave them a silent look.

"Dont worry about it. I think I can just bring the materials." Renjun said.

"Why are you taking his job?" You asked with a confused face.

"Okay look, I don't wanna look pathetic. So I'm bringing the materials but I have to do it with someone." Jaemin said.

He pointed you out. "You?"...." wanna come with me?" Jaemin asked.

And before you even said yes, renjun suddenly said "I'm coming with you." Renjun and jaemin had this weird ass eye contact.

You then approved and jaemin gave you a sigh.

"Pusher..."jaemin whispered.

"What?" You asked.

"Nothing.. I said usher.. the singer" jaemin replied.

That day felt really weird because I was sure I heard jaemin say pusher. It had a P sound.

I walked in to my classroom and was shocked to what I've seen.

"JAEMIN AND RENJUN!! FIGHTING " someone shouted.

I didn't know they had been fighting... all this time. Should I even stop these two... I don't think I have the right--- not until now when I heard renjun saying.... "You can't always play with y/n's feelings... I like her and you as her childhood friend? Just keep it that way." Renjun said.

I ... I immediately went out of that room without anyone noticing and ran as fast as I could. The bell rang and lunch was done.. we all eventually went back to class but for some odd reason.. no one has been telling me what happened earlier.

Everyone completely ignored that fact and no one wants to ask me about it which is a good thing... although I can see my friends stare and nervous around me.

I am confused right now ... so confused that Idek if I'm going to talk to these two idiots... well, for starters.. jaemin was my childhood BestFriend and probably my first crush... but that was a long time ago.. he was a very good friend of me for a very long time.. then .. renjun came and he gave me advice, support and eventually became bestfriends with.. Idk.. I didn't really thought that he likes me. Now that I know.. I don't know what to think of him.

"Hey, y/n.." renjun unexpectedly came so I freaked out.

"ahhh!!!" .."oh Hey renjun....." I said.

"You probably know by now..." he said.

Gotta pretend I dont know.

"Know what?" I asked

Renjun was frozen like a block of ice. He was just staring at me.

" You got hurt? What happened?" I said as I saw bruises in his face.

"I.. I tripped earlier hah haha" a nervous laugh came out of renjuns mouth.

"Let's get that fixed." I said. I was really worried because I've never seen him like that before.

We went to the clinic and we saw jaemin.

I pretended to look shocked that jaemin also had bruises in his face.  I was just trying to avoid the OTHER conversation.

"Jaemin! What happened?" I asked.

" Oh I got hit by a car." Jaemin said.

The nurse started laughing.

"He got into a fight." The nurse butting in.

"Here's the truth..." Renjun was about to tell everything..

" LETS get you fixed now." I immediately said.

Then jaemin looked at me as I focused more on renjun.

"If I really was got hit by a car y/n... I want you to know that I was deeply hurt and I want you to take care of me." Jaemin said.

"But, obviously that was a lie. I thought you would care I guess.." jaemin was trying not to look at you.

"I care, i just think renjun needs to be looked after too. You literally came here before us." You said.

"I.. i know you already know why we both fought.. i knew you were there. I tried to stop the fight for you but we couldn't." Jaemin said.

(That's embarrassing... I am caught in act.)

"Okay, i was not there.. i swear." I told renjun (i was obviously trying to save myself from embarrassment)

Renjun then replied with "jaemin, stop talking please."

It was quiet for about an hour.

Then jaemin just left without saying goodbye. You stayed with renjun, trying to figure out what to say or how to comprehend what happened.

"I like you. I only wanted to stop jaemin because he was the other guy in this love triangle." Renjun said.

"Love triangle.. there's no love triangle. Jaemin is my friend.." I said.

"What are we then?" Renjun asked.

".... bestfriends." I said.

"Atleast that means I'm closer to you right? Even though I wasn't a childhood friend to you." Renjun tried putting up a smile.

"We can change that tho.." you said in a shy tone.

"Wait, let me ask you properly.." renjun said.

"Can I date you?" Renjun asked.

"What are we? Elementary students? " You laughed and eventually agreed.

After all you realized you've been happy being with renjun a lot and all the time.
