Chibi Kagome Goes to Ouran High School

Chapter 7: Embarrassing and Awkward

Next Week

After School(Clubs Open)

Host Club

Kagome was eating a slice of cake with a strawberry on top, that was made from fresh ingredients, while her customers(mostly girls) were gushing about how cute she looked and some of them even offered her more cake.

Kagome gained an overly happy look on her face and thanked them politely for their offers of more cake.

"Kya~! Kawaii~!" Her customers exclaimed at her happy look.

While Kagome was eating the slices of cake, she was also thinking back on what happened the day before when her Nii-san found out about the "incident."

Flashback

Kagome was in the living room or "family room," sitting on one of the armchairs, eating a slice of chocolate cake and watching one of the boring and kind of lame shows that was on TV.

Meanwhile, Shippo, who was also in the living room, was trying to act like he was bored, but he was actually using his demon hearing to listen to what the chairman of Ouran High School was talking to Sesshy-who was in the hallway outside the living room-about, on the phone.

It seems like they were talking about what happened to his kaa-san when she was at school yesterday.

When he heard what they were talking about, he was thinking, 'I'm going to get a new father soon~!' with a grin that only kitsunes could make when they were scheming up a plan.

When Kagome turned around, about to ask Shippo if he wanted some cake, she saw that grin on his face, and she was thinking, 'Oh no! He's planning something again!'

The last time Shippo had a grin like that, was when he was scheming a trick on Inuyasha back when Kagome was still in the Sengoku Jidai, and her friends weren't dead yet.

Just thinking about her lost friends made Kagome's mood go down.

'Bad Kagome! Think happy thoughts! Don't go thinking about those sad times!' Kagome tried to think of happy thoughts, so she wouldn't worry her Nii-san and Shippo anymore than they already did.

"What are you planning this time, Shippo?" Kagome asked with a sigh, after gaining back her positive mood.

Shippo hadn't sensed his kaa-san's brief moment of sadness, 'cause he was too busy listening to the rest of Sesshomaru's and the chairman's conversation on the phone, and scheming up a great plan.

"Uh...nothing?" Shippo inwardly winced at how his answer came out sounding like a question.

"I-I'm not p-planning anything!" Shippo sputtered out while trying to sound like it actually was nothing.

"Why would you say that?" Shippo asked nervously while sweating bullets inside.

"'Cause you were grinning like all those other times when you were planning something," Kagome stated, with a not-so-amused expression on her face.

Just as he was going to deny it again, the big living room doors were opened, and in came Sesshy. Apparently, he had finished the phone call, and he had his usual stoic expression on his face, but Kagome could tell that that was his not-so-happy expression.

"Imoto, your school's chairman called, and he told this Sesshomaru of what happened to you yesterday." Sesshy addressed Kagome.

Kagome pushed down her nervousness at seeing the face he was directing her with. It was his "I'm not happy at all," face. Kagome could just see Honey's impending doom that he was going to get if her Nii-san ever saw him.

"Imoto, bring him here tomorrow after your club activities are over," Sesshy said, with his usual icy voice.

"Yeah! Kaa-san, bring your boyfriend over! I want to meet my future father~!" Shippo said, teasing his kaa-san a little.

"Nii-san, it wasn't his fault that that happened! It was mine! So, please don't hurt him!" Kagome said pleadingly.

"And Shippo! He is not my boyfriend! We are both in the Host Club! And we are only friends!" Kagome huffed out, crossing her arms across her chest while trying to deny it, but with the blush on her face, Shippo didn't believe her one bit.

Sesshy's face softened up a little, but no one could actually see that.

"Imoto, this Sesshomaru is not going to hurt him. This Sesshomaru just wants to spar with him to see his skills, so this Sesshomaru can see if he is worthy of courting this Sesshomaru's imoto.

Kagome's whole face was red now, from embarrassment.

"I'm going to my room!"

Kagome couldn't take the embarrassment anymore, and she had turned into her more demon looking form with the pointy elf like ears, pointy fang-like teeth in her mouth, sharp claws on her fingers and toes, a crescent moon on her forehead, and a fluffy boa like thing(that was actually her tail) over one of her shoulders. All in all, Kagome's demon form looked breathtaking, just like her Nii-san.

Her hearing is much better now since she was in her demon form, and she could hear Shippo snickering back in the living room as she was walking upstairs to her room. And...was that her Nii-san chuckling just now?!

'Kami-sama, what have I done to get this?!' Kagome thought.

End of Flashback

As her flashback of what happened yesterday, was finished, she had a light blush on her face.

Her customers noticed her blush and thought, 'Kawaii~!'

~Time Skip~

The doors to the Host Club room opened and in came Mori carrying Honey on his back, who looked like he had just woken up.

Honey rubbed at his eyes to get the sleepiness off of himself, with one hand, while the other hand was holding onto Mori's shoulder, to prevent himself from falling off. But, that wasn't needed since Mori was holding him up with both arms.

"You're both late!" Tamaki stated, appearing out of nowhere.

"Sorry, Tamaki. I fell asleep waiting for Takashi to finish up Kendo practice." Honey said, with a flower background appearing behind him, making him seem innocently cute.

"Kya~! Kawaii~!" Honey's regular customers exclaimed from Honey's section of the room where he usually hosts, together with Mori.

Tamaki, who is bad at staying in being "mad" mode, immediately forgave them.

After Tamaki forgave them, the duo headed over to their regular customers.

Kagome stopped them midway, asking Mori if she could speak to Honey alone. Mori gave a nod for affirmation and started to his original destination.

Kagome fidgeted nervously in place, not knowing how to start this conversation.

Meanwhile, Honey was also nervous, with a faint blush on his face while holding Usa-chan behind his back.

Both of them could still remember the "accidental kiss," the other day.

It became more awkward by the second, both not knowing how to start the conversation, without making it seem awkward to the others in the room.

Kagome gathered up her courage and asked.

"H-Honey-kun, will you come over to my house today? Nii-san wants to have a spar with you, and Shippo-chan also wants to meet you." Kagome asked nervously while crossing her fingers out of nervous habit.

"If it's not a bother to have me over, then I guess it's okay with me. Can Takashi come also?" Honey answered and asked.

"Um...I guess Nii-san wouldn't mind another person coming over. Ehe~" Kagome said cutely.

"Okay!" Honey said, suspiciously happy for some reason that Kagome doesn't know about.
