Some say that immortality is a gift, others call it a curse. While it may seem great at first, watching your friends die again and again as you stay forever young. . .there is no worse pain. I would not wish it upon anyone.

I was immortal for as long as I can remember, since the dawn of time I was here. Watching, waiting. For what, I never knew. But now. . .

Now I understand.

Some people are on this planet for a reason. I had a reason, it just took me a while to realize what that reason was.

I was sent to suffer so I could help the world around me thrive. To help people home again.

It was only after Duncan and the Sirs got back home, to their true family, that I was finally given peace. This time I got to die along with my friends, with the love of my life.

Yes, Lewis came for me. His days were numbered, he was the only one left. But he found me, withering away in the land I called home for millennial.

Yes, the man I fell in love with many years ago came back, and we got to be together again. I got to kiss him one last time before he left me.

But at least we got to die together.
