"if you can dream it, you can do it." -walt disney
"Oh Elsa, there beautiful, but you know I don't skate." Caitlyn's TV spoke as she changed out of her pajamas for a bright new day, an exciting one at that.
She had put on a pink shirt that said 'Hakuna Matata' and a pair of blue jean shorts with a faded Cinderella Castle on the left leg. The perfect outfit for a day at her favorite place, Walt Disney World.
"Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore..." Caitlyn hummed as she finished packing a full bag of Disney merchandise. "Mickey ears, check. Belle's blue bow, check. Anna's chic green dress, check. Maleficent's horns, check. And a million-other-Disney-related-things-I-probably-shouldn't-be-bringing, check." The brunette with blue eyes said as she fell upon her bed.
"I better watch Cinderella one more time before we leave...." Caitlyn said as she plucked the CD off her shelf.
"Caitlyn! Were leaving now!" Her mother yelled from the outside of the house, where the car was parked.
"Then I have to bring it with me. I'll just put it with the rest." Caitlyn said as she put the disc into another small bag, full of Disney movies as well.
"I'm off to see Disney World. The Most Happiest Place on Earth. Because, because, because, because, because, of all the wonderful things it is," She sang as she walked out the door to the tune of I'm Off To See the Wizard from the Wizard of Oz. She walked to the car and saw that there was already a place prepared for her.
Her whole family piled into the car, with her father driving, her mother in the passenger seat, her older sister on the far side of the car, and her younger brother in the middle. They quickly made their way to the interstate with ease. Caitlyn then started Cinderella in her DVD player once she knew they weren't going to stop anytime soon.
By the time that the family finally arrived in Orlando, she was just finished with the movie. She was planning on starting Beauty and the Beast when Cinderella was over, but she didn't get there.
"Where are we?" said a tired voice, coming from Caitlyn's left.
"The most happiest place on Earth, Walt Disney World. Also known as my home," Caitlyn stated to the toddler sitting next to her.
"How is it your home?" Luke, the toddler said becoming face to face with Caitlyn.
"Because it's magical, home to my favorite character, created by my idol, and I don't know if you're old enough to know the last reason..."
"Tell me! Tell me!"
"Disney grants every wish." Caitlyn said remarking her words to leave Luke with many questions.
"Mom, which park are we going to today?" Caitlyn asked desperately. She was hoping for the Magic Kingdom; the oldest of the four parks.
"Luke, don't believe her. I wished for something and never got it." Caitlyn's older sister had said, eavesdropping on their conversation.
"And what wish would that be?" Caitlyn asked her sister.
"To be a Princess."
"That's because you're too mean to be a princess! Besides, who hasn't wished to be a Princess anyways?"
"That doesn't mean it can't happen. You've wished too and look where we are. In a car. To a kingdom."
"I've dreamed to be a Princess, totally different thing."
"But as Cinderella said, 'a dream is a wish your heart makes'. You practically engraved that into my brain."
"Dreams are stronger than wishes. You wished, I dreamt. Besides I had and have a bigger dream than being a Princess...."
"Continue,"
"To have a Happily Ever After." Caitlyn fired back.
"Fairytales don't happen in the real world, Mom, Dad, tell her."
"Alice, if you dream or wish for one, and you mean it, they can come true." Their dad said.
"But are never actually going to happen." Mom muttered under her breath, low enough so neither of them could hear it.
"While we're on this, I hate my name... Why'd you name me after a Disney character?" Alice said.
"It was your Great Aunt's name. Would you rather have us call you Maleficent from now on?" Her mom said.
"What? Maleficent is to good for her! Can't we call her Regina or something like that?" Caitlyn said as the drove into the hotel. "And really Mom? Why'd we have to go to All Star Sports again? Why not movies or music for once."
"It was the only one available." Their mom said. Caitlyn rolled her eyes as she leaned back into her seat.
The car drove slowly into the parking lot and everyone hoped out. "Okay everyone grab your bags." Caitlyn's father said.
Caitlyn grabbed her hard top Mickey Mouse suitcase and followed her sister into the lobby. Even though Alice hated her name, she did look identical to Alice Kingsleigh herself. With the blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Alice, you and Cait are sharing a room—" Their mother started but was cut off by Alice. "
"Mom, there is no way in the entire world that I am sharing a room with her." Alice said pointing at Caitlyn.
"Got a feisty one there, more like the Queen Of Hearts than Alice." The woman at the front desk said.
"I'm going to the arcade while you do all that jazz, bye." Alice said ignoring the comment.
Caitlyn could never figure out what Alice had against Disney. It was such an amazing thing. "Cait, can you go bring your brother up to room 1205?" Caitlyn's mother asked.
"Sure." Caitlyn said as she held her brothers hand. Looking at the room key, she moved it around. Strangely feeling Tinker Bell's eyes following her wherever she moved it.
When the elevator doors opened on the right floor, Caitlyn had her eyes on Luke. So she ran into someone. "Oh my Disney, I'm so sorry!" Caitlyn said helping the boy she knocked over up.
"It's fine..." He said looking up at Caitlyn, with his yellow eyes, he stared into Caitlyn's blue ones.
"I'm..." The boy said, hesitant. "Cheshire."
"Like the cat! I'm Cait, and this is my brother, Luke." She continued.
"Nice to meet you both, but I have to go." He said jumping into the elevator when Caitlyn was out.
Caitlyn brought her brother to their room and wondered about Cheshire, thinking that it wasn't that normal of a name. Meanwhile, in the elevator, Cheshire picked up his phone and called a very important person on speed dial.
"Belle?" Cheshire spoke at a whisper, in case anyone decided to listen in. "Yeah, she's here."
