Part 4

Joe's Place:
Barry: Iris I'm really sorry, but I don't know what I can do to fix this relationship.

Iris: Barry you don't need to fix the relationship; I've come to terms with you being the flash and I think I'm ready to accept it.

Barry: Really?!?! I can't believe you're so accepting you're never like this.. what's the catch.

Iris: I will accept you being the flash as long as I get to join the team.

Barry: I don't know if that is going to happen Iris you know how dangerous this job is and I don't know if I'm willing to let you sacrifice your life that easily.

Iris: Please Barry I promise I won't let myself get in trouble I will only help.
Barry: Let me ask the team and I will get back to you.

Iris: Okay thanks for thinking about it Barry.

Barry: No problem but speaking of the team I have to go apparently there is some sort of cop chase near star labs.

Iris: Okay see you later Barry!

Barry: Bye

Barry's POV:
There was not really a cop chase I just really wanted to get out of the house with Iris. I don't know what to do but I know I have to ask the team about Iris joining, but first I'm going to ask Felicity because she might have an opinion (Plus I kind of want to talk to her again). It only takes me about 30 minutes, so it's not too bad.
So, I finally made it to Oliver's "liar" or whatever he is calling it. I would call it the arrow cave but he told me he didn't like it being called that. At the moment it's about 11:45 AM so I think I might ask Felicity if she just wants to grab lunch really quick, because I'm starving.
On the phone with Felicity:
Barry: Hey Felicity!

Felicity: Oh hey Barry what's up?

Barry: Oh nothing much I just stopped by to ask your opinion on something.

Felicity: Wait. You're here??

Barry: Yea sorry I didn't tell you in advance I kind of just made the decision to come down here like 30 minutes ago.

Felicity: Right I forgot it only takes you 30 minutes to get down here.

Barry: Okay anyway I wanted to ask you if you would like to get lunch with me.

Felicity: Yea sure totally where are we meeting and what time?

Barry: I was thinking big belly burger, and maybe like now??

Felicity: Wait like right now. I mean sure I can make it there in about 5 minutes.

Barry: Cool see you then.

Felicity: Yep see you there.

About 10 minutes later at big belly burger:
Barry's POV:
So Felicity just got here and I'm kind of excited to sit down and have lunch with her even though it's just big belly burger. I've kinda of missed her these pst couple of days even though we've only met once it feels like we've known each other for years. We order then sit down at a table for two people. I really don't know how to bring up the Iris thing but I guess we will just wait and see how it goes.

Convo at big belly burger:
Felicity: So hows life?

Barry: Its the usual, you know how it is get up go to work then come home and sleep and repeat.

Felicity: Yea it can be pretty boring at times, but if you need anyone you can always call me.

Barry: Thanks, same to you!

Felicity: Thanks Barry. How's the team?

Barry: Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. As you know I recently told Iris that I was the flash, and you know how well that went.

Felicity: Yea I heard about that. I'm really sorry.

Barry: It's okay now she forgave me but under one circumstance.

Felicity: One circumstance huh hmm I almost did that to Oliver but I knew he would never give me anything to keep working for him, but you got to tell me the circumstance not because I'm way to deep for you to not spill.

Barry: Yea she said that she would forgive me if she could join team flash.

Felicity:*gasps just to seem dramatic*

Barry: Yea and I thought I should ask your opinion on the subject because I thought you might have an opinion on this subject.

Felicity: Why wouldn't you say yes?? You would be crazy to say no, you know you can never have too many hands that help with a team.

Barry: Yea I guess you're right, but I don't know how much of a help she would actually be.

Felicity: I guess you never know if you don't try.

Barry: I guess you're right I probably should have more faith in Iris I mean I have known her since we were kids.

Felicity: I mean what do you have to loose?

Barry: You're right thanks Felicity I knew you'd know exactly what to say.

Felicity: Anytime Barry, and remember if you ever and I mean ever need anything you can just call me.

Barry: Don't worry Felicity I will definitely call you if I need anything, and remember if you need anything you know you can call me too.

Felicity: Thanks Barry it's nice to know I have a friend like you.

Barry: Anytime Felicity.

Barry's POV:
So we just finished our meal and it's time to leave. I walk Felicity to her car, because I don't have one to go to. It's time for me to leave so I tell her I'm going back to central city and talk to my team about Iris. Then we said out goodbyes.

Felicity: Bye Barry

Barry: Bye Felicity

I can see her car in the distance as I speed off back to central city. I know I should probably get home soon, but I think there is just one place I need stop by before I go back.
