The Demon Within (a Macy x Harry story)

Chapter 6

1 week later.

Macy woke up with a searing headache and it took precisely 1 minute and 30 seconds for her blurry vision to become clear. "Mel," she called out weakly. "Maggie." "Harry." Harry appeared in her room the second she called. "Macy, thank goodness you're awake." Mel came in the room followed by Maggie. "Hey Mace," Maggie said. "Need anything." "Yeah anything at all," Mel inquired. Harry smiled, "Yeah, I just picked up my favorite kind of peppermint tea. It is marvelous with a hint of chocolate. Would you like some?" Macy nodded and whispered, "Thank you." While Harry went to get the tea Macy asked, "Dr. Julia hasn't fired me yet, right?" Mel shook her head, "No she said to be in work when you feel better." "Well, tell her I'll be there the day after tomorrow." Mel nodded and proceeded to do so. Maggie whispered to Mel, "Should we tell her?" "Tell me what?" Macy asked. Mel sat down on her bed and Maggie held her hand. "Mace, what Maggie means to say is that Galvin and Charity are dead. Fiona killed Charity and Galvin sacrificed himself to cure the demonic virus 🦠." Macy's face fell,"Oh." Then Harry appeared with the tea cup. Macy took a sip and asked Harry, "Hey can you help me up so I can change into my pjs." Harry nodded and offered his arm. Macy stood up and her knees buckled. Luckily Harry caught her and Macy and Harry both blushed a solid pink. Macy cleared her throat, "Well can you all give me some privacy so I can change."

They all went out and had empanadas for breakfast 🍳. "Well,Macy's taking it well," Mel said. "Taking What Well?" Harry asked. "The death of Galvin." "Her boyfriend?" "Her ex. He broke up with her because he didn't want anything supernatural in his life. But they remained friends." Harry was fiddling with his fingers, "Mel and Maggie you didn't forget that you promised me..." Mel nodded, "Yeah Harry we'll ask her." "Thanks." "By the way Mel how are things with Jada?" "We're back together and yeah. Fiona killed the Sarcana so we're all on the same page."

Macy took a nap for the rest of the day and up till the next day.

8:00 🕗 

Mel, Maggie, and Macy was playing truth or dare. It was Maggie's turn, "Mel, truth or dare?" "Dare." "I dare you to kiss Harry." Mel rolled her eyes, "Harry!" Harry appeared in his dark blue robe,"What?" Mel gave him a kiss on the cheek then she looked at Maggie, "Happy?" "Very." Harry was still confused so Maggie explained that the whole thing was a dare. Then Harry went to wait outside. Then it was Mel's turn, "Mace truth or dare?" "Truth." "Do you have a crush and if you do who is it?" Macy blushed, "I do and it is Harry." Then Mel went out of the room and nodded at Harry. That was the best moment of Harry's life.
