Today the guys are leaving for tour. I'm gonna miss not waking up to Luke. Not having him right there for me at my every need. Plus now that we told the public we might get a lot of hate and he won't be here to help me through it. At least I'll have Lexi though.
"Babe, what're you thinking about?" Luke asked as he drove us to the airport in my car.
"You..." I replied with a sad tone gazing out the window. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it, I squeezed it back. I allowed a tear to roll down my face.
I knew I'd be crying a lot in the future anyways. I hear pregnant people have drastic mood changes, so with me being like that anyways, it'll be even worse. I'm kind of scared for Lexi and I to live in the same house for 4 1/2 months together while pregnant because we'll both be complete bitches.
"We're here." Luke glumly said parking in a spot for new mothers or mothers to be, which was right across from the door of the airport. We we're meeting the rest of the boys and Lexi here, so they should be inside by now.
Luke got out and grabbed his bags out of the trunk. The wind was blowing pretty hard so I stood there with my hands on my bump, watching his hair blow in the wind, as my hair did the same. Luke handed me the keys so I could drive home after he left, and then we walked into the airport.
Luke handed the lady his passport and she in exchange gave him his boarding ticket. "Have a safe flight!" She said as he grabbed the ticket from her.
Today was a really depressing day, Luke and the guys were leaving, it was just plain gloomy outside, and I had a terrible head ache. Jai walked over to use and gave me a hug, as Luke just kept walking. As we stood there hugging, the baby kicked for the first time. "Jai did you feel that!" I said excitedly.
"Yes! Was that the baby?" He also said getting excited.
"Yup!" I said popping the p.
"I can't wait to be an uncle." He smiled weirdly to himself making me laugh.
"I can't wait to be a mother. And an aunt because I'd be the aunt of Lexi's baby." I smiled at the thought of our children being best friends.
"Come on let's go to the others." Jai said leading me to where everyone was sat. "Guys the baby kicked!" Jai screamed practically. Luke's head shot up from his phone as he ran over to me.
"Really?" He asked eagerly waiting for an answer. I nodded my head butting my lip while smiling. He hugged me and the baby kicked again.
"Well this little fella sure likes hugs." I said out loud, hoping Luke felt it.
"Holy fuck! I felt it!" He yelled putting his hands on my belly. I looked at everyone else watching us with beaming faces of excitement. Well everyone was there, but Beau.
I looked around and saw him walking away wiping his eyes. "I'll be right back, I need to use the restroom." I made up an excuse so I could get to Beau. Luke nodded and I hurried toward Beau. Right before he opened the bathroom door, I grabbed his arm.
"Beau, what's wrong?" I calmly asked. He turned around and I saw he had been crying.
"That's my baby." He whispered with sadness evident in his tone.
"I know." I looked him in the eyes and they teared up even more.
"I can't stand you telling everyone it's Luke's when it's not. That's my baby, I'm the one that helped you create it, not him. I'm not going to go through with this, I can't. I know I said I would but... I don't think you realize how much pain this is causing me!" He said and put his hand over his heart.
"Beau, I know it hurts you... Believe me it hurts me too. I can't stand the thought of lying to our baby like that, but Beau, you know we have to." I said never breaking eye contact.
He put his hands on my bump and bent down staring at it. "I love you already and your not even here yet. Just know even if I can't be your father figure in the future, I'll love you just the same." A tear slipped down my face. Beau stood up and walked away back to the others, the words he just said ringing through my head.
