CHAPTER TWELVE

Souls POV.

Maka was mine now.

The next day Maka wasn't there when I woke up. She left me breakfast which was cold obviously. I went out to look for her at the DWMA. Blackstar told me she was with Lord Death discussing things.

Maka's POV.

I arrived at the DWMA to meet with Lord Feath because he needed to discuss something with me.

I couldn't tell if it was important or not considering he looks the same everyday.

He spoke "Maka there's something I need to tell which is quite important" I was worried

"As you know, ever since Soul protected you from getting cut by Crona it's had an effect on your souls wavelengths" (just using my imagination) "I know Soul and you have had trouble using your soul resonance, and if you can not fix it, I'll be forced to get you a new partner".

Souls POV.

I heard Maka and Lord Death talking, so I tried to hear what they were talking about. I heard him speak "If you can not fix it, I'll be forced to get you a new partner".

My eyes widened . I can't be separated from Maka! Hell I'm in love with her I just fixed everything! If I'm gone who will protect her!?!. I hurried and went to look for kid.

Maka's POV.

I stood up " A new partner!? You can't expect me to leave Soul do you!?! He's MY one and only partner!" He tried to calm me down "Believe me Maka I know what you must be feeling, but after Dr.Stein healed Soul he hasn't been the same".

I was already crying "Soul is strong but not that strong. You see one of Medusa's snakes got in his body."..
