Maka's POV.

Gasping for Air I turned and went to Medusa.

Beaten up very well by Kid and Blackstar I went up to her.

"You've caused enough pain",

Speaking to Soul I told Him no matter what we need to focus on our soul resonance.

Closing my eyes at the same time soul and I said "Soul resonance!". 'I hope this works..I can't lose soul'

I thought. While Kid and Blackstar were distracted Medusa sent her snakes flying into my body breaking the resonance. I collapsed.

Souls POV.

Once Maka collapsed I turned back and ran to her side crying as Medusa disappeared. Kid and Blackstar came running. Holding Maka in my arms, crying I hugged her kept trying to wake her up.

"Soul...go..leave me you'll get hurt". "Maka your more than my partner I'm your weapon ok!? Your my meister that means I'm ALWAYS prepared to die for my meister" I said as I slowly watched her close her eyes.

Maka's POV.

When I woke up I, was in a room. I was in the schools emergency room. When I tried to get up I groaned from pain. Dr.Stein was also in the room.

"Well hello Maka" Right away I asked where soul was " I think I'll start off by saying your awake and perfectly fine" He said "I don't care about my well being is Soul ok?" "Funny he said the same thing, but you see..
