Scarlet POV~

Life as I knew it was controlling me, leaving me no choice but to let others walk all over me, but not anymore.

This is all fucking bullshit. I am fucking 17. Not 7. I am going to do something about this.

"Love? Scarlet where are you?" Louis calls from the other room.

"Basement Lou." I yell loud enough for him to hear all the way on the main level.

"Oh Scarlet! I have wonderful news!" Louis chirped, about to trip down the stairs.

"Well tell me you fool!" I say.

"You know the boys back from home? Yah, They are all moving here!" Louis said practically screaming.

"Yay Lou! I'm so happy for you! When are they flying in?" I ask.

"Well they tried surprising me, but I found out from their twitters. So they will be here tonight!" Louis screamed.

I am so happy for him. He seems so happy. But I hope he will still have time for me.

"Don't worry love, You are my first priority." he said

"Can you like read my mind?" I asked while giggling.

"No, you just said it out loud." he laughed.

The rest of the afternoon we made plans with some of my friends and Louis 'mates' as he likes to call them. And They all will be coming over and I get to meet them.

Erin has been looking for a guy for years. I don't understand how she doesn't have one already. She is gorgeous.

But if all goes well, it should be a spectacular night.

I am laying next to Louis on my couch, resting my head on his chest.

"You mean a lot to me Louis, I would do anything to make you smile. You are the person who I know is always here for me. I just wanted you to know that." I say, my voice cracking.

"Love, of course I know that. Is everything alright?" he asks.

I so dearly want to tell him everything. But I can't. Who ever this person is, they have Mikaylah. Who knows who they will take next. I can't risk Louis getting hurt.

The doorbell rings before I have to answer, making me eternally grateful.

Incoming are 4 very attractive, very loud, boys.

"Scarlet, these are the lads; Liam, Harry, Niall, and Zayn." Louis yells.

"Haha Well It is amazing meeting you all! Do you guys want anything? There is food in the kitchen." I say casually.

Before I could even take a breath, all 5 of the boys make their way to the kitchen.

"Scarlet come in here and talk!" Louis yells across the house.

"Okay, I'm coming." I reply

When I enter the room, all eyes are on me.

"Mate, you got a lovely friend 'ere." The blonde one says, his Irish accent bleeding through his words.

"Do you all have accents?" I ask, I guess it was a dumb question because they all start dying of laughter.

"Of course love, Is that okay?" The dark one says.

"100% Fine with that." I say.

Woah, they are so hot I'm going to cry.

"Well, tell me about yourselves." I say before anyone else could speak.

"Uhm. I'm Niall I like food and fifa."  he sticks his arm out to I'm guessing to shake my hand so I reach my hand out and he grabs me and pulls me into a hug.

When he let's me go the next one introduces himself.

"I'm Zayn and I like sleeping." he quietly says and I smile at him.

"I'm Liam and I guess I act the most mature out of the lot." when he says that I hear a lot of 'yep' and 'that's true's'

"And I'm Harry and I think you're very pretty." He coos as he kisses my hand.

I glance over at Louis who is giving Harry the death glare.

Louis then stands up, and walks over to me and grabs my hand and puts it in his and says "Mine. Hands off"

"Way to be possessive, huh Lou?" I say while winking at the blue eyed boy.

"But you are mine Scarlet." he says but before anyone else could bud in a comment, the doorbell rings.

"I thought your friends were going out of town Scar." Louis says.

"They were." I say, gulping. This cannot be good.

I slowly walk over to the door and open it, revealing a box at my toes.

With a paper that in Red letters say "Scar"

I hesitantly grab the wooden box, and walk over to the island, opening the lid, screaming when I see the contents.

They were Mikaylah's clothes and jewelry covered in blood.

I grab the paper and flip it over.

"She's gone babe.

seems like you lost.

I could be lying,

or maybe not.

Time for you to find out."

I drop to the floor and scream. I am shaking and crying so much I can't tell what's happening around me. Neither do I care.

I have got to find her. I don't care what's after me, I am going to save her.

"Scarlet! BABY! Answer me!" I look up and see Louis Cradling me while everyone else is looking at the box.

"Louis, she's in danger." I say, shakily

"Babe, What do we need to do?" he asks.

"Find her." I answer with vengeance in my voice.
