Chapter||seven

because I went to sleep at around 3.00, I thought I was going to wake up later than usual.but when u checked my phone the clock read, 8.48am

I made my bed and got out of last night's clothes.
Laid out in front of me were my Adidas sweats and a black oversized t-shirt.

Once I was dressed I brushed my hair and made my way down to the kitchen.

"good morning edwin" I said

"Ayo good morning sleepy head" he replied

as I was eating my bowl of cereal. Nick thought it would be a great idea to challenged me to  Mario kart .

10 minutes later...

"Y/n can u like, not"  Nick yells at the TV after I threw a banana peel at him in Mario kart, I shrug my shoulders without moving my eyes from the screen.

"I told u I was good at this game" I said

"Shut up, nobody's better than me alright" Nick says without moving his eyes off the screen

I was currently in 2nd place with Nick right behind me at 3rd. " bye bye Sister"  he chants as he's about to press the button to activate his lightning power up, but before he could even think of doing so, I activate my bullet power up, speeding all the way to 1st place and through the finish line.

"Nooo" Nick cries out and wipes a fake tears from his cheek. "AND THE MARIO KART CHAMPIONSHIP BELT GOES TO Y/N" Brandon yell  out

As soon as the boys stopped clapping I got a text from Zion saying he was going to bring me on a date at 4.00

I was confused yet excited because this is the time where I could get to know him more and maybe just maybe take this "relationship" to the next level

We've been playing Mario kart since 9am with shirts breaks in between, but now it's 3.00pm and these boys have not stop playing. When I asked about Zion they said he was busy, I wonder what he has planned.

I took a quick shower and got ready for our "date" standing in front of the mirror I made sure I looked good.

When I went downstairs I saw Zion by the door with a huge smile on his face, but slowly fading with his mouth hanging open. He had a champion hoodie in with some ripped blue jeans. Simple, but yet he made my heart skip a beat

"Wow y/n you look gorgeous" He babbles. I let out a laugh at his cuteness and he says "sorry you just look so beautiful" I smile and thank him

"You don't look too bad yourself Zion" I say making him laugh and roll his eyes.

He leads me to his car and opens the door for me "woah, gentleman" I tease. "So where are you taking me Z?" I asked taking his eyes off the road, he looked over to me and said "it's a surprise babygirl"

Minutes passed by, but finally we arrived; i was confused as to what we were doing in a vacant parking lot.

He laughs when he notice my confused face and continue "come on, we gotta follow the path down there" he says and points to a trail of sand in between trees. I follow him to the trail.

We had a 6 minutes convo until I was faced with a breathe taking view.

"Wow" I breathed out and took a minute to admire my surroundings. "Let's sit down." He led me towards a picnic table and took out food from his backpack.

It doesn't take much for me to be happy, he doesn't need to buy me stuff or take me out to a expensive restaurant. Just as long as I'm with him i seem to enjoy myself. Our evening was filled with laughter and no silence. We always had something to talk about during our meal. I made sure to take a picture of the view and sneakily took a picture of Zion being cute as hell.

" well thank you for that, I had such a great time" I smile and look over at him as we sat inside the car in the PRETTYMUCH house driveway.

"I had a great time too" he looks at me. My cheeks burn up as he kept his gaze on me. Damn he so fine I thought to myself.

"You're so gorgeous" he breathed out and smiled.

"Shut up" I chuckle, taken back by how he said it. I felt myself getting even more hot and turned to the window to make sure he didn't see.

He opened the car door for me.

"Goodnight Z" I lean in to hug him and he does the same.

"Goodnight" He says almost a whisper as he held me tight. Before we let go, he kissed my forehead and held my hands for a bit longer.
