I made my way through the halls trying to spot McGonagall, but had no luck. I racked my brain for something else to do to pass the time when I heard what sounded like a hamster screaming.

"ARE YOU BLIND?"

I looked in the direction of the scream and saw Danielle's friend, Eleanor with a shorter girl I've never seen before.

"No, but I might be deaf now thanks to that horrid voice of yours." She replied.

"You made me spill my Starbucks!" Eleanor shouted at the girl.

"Congratulations you have a firm grip on the obvious!" The girl replied dully.

I tried not to laugh at the girl’s response as I made way over to them. As funny as it was, I could see how mad Eleanor was.

"Eleanor, why don't you go find Danielle, I'm sure she has a spell to dry your robe."

Eleanor nodded at me before sending one last brief glare towards the girl and then she went storming off.

My hand covered my mouth as I tried to laugh at her dramatic exit. I turned to my side and was met by a glare.

"Um, shouldn't you be thanking me? Not trying to crush my soul with your eyes?" I asked the girl.

"Oh excuse me princess, thank you for stopping a perfectly good fight between me and a Gryffindor."

Her voice was dripping with sarcasm as she placed her hands over her heart. "My hero."

I took a second to look her over, and noticed for the first time, the green laced on her robes.

"Ah..."

She smirked as if she knew exactly what I had discovered.

"Regret saving me yet?" She asked.

"Not a bit."

The smirk faltered from her face for a second, surprised by my answer, she opened her mouth to reply but the voice that was heard wasn't hers.

"KAILAH."

She spun around and grabbed onto the girl that had just joined us into a hug.

"Susan! Hi."

When they pulled apart, her friend’s eyes quickly did a sweep over me.

"Well who's this?"

"Oh yeah, Susan this is a guy, guy this a Susan."

I extended my hand towards her friend. "I'm Harry Styles."

Kailah's lips instantly turning into a grin, and Susan got a frighten expression on her face.

"Oh Kailah, please tell me you're not getting another idea." Susan said, eyes pleading.

"Um... Should I be scared?" I asked lightly.

"No.. No..No.. Maybe just a little... Her plans are usually harmless...” Susan tried to convince me.

"That grin is far to wicked to be an innocent idea...”

"I'm just wondering... You're mates with Potter, yeah?" She questioned.

I nodded in response.

"Well he's working on this...project, and it interests Susan and I here... We would ask him about it, but you know how he is with Slytherin..." She trailed off glancing at Susan.

"So we were wondering if you could ask him about it. Then pass the information along, secretly of course." Susan finished, with a wicked grin of her own now dancing on her lips.

My better judgment told me to say no, to just walk away and never speak to these girls again. But I figured it was just the Gryffindor in me thinking badly of all Slytherins, so I agreed.

"We owe you big time Harry."

"Yeah, I’ll take you up on that."

"We'll be looking forward to it, but for now we must go. Really busy...” Susan said gesturing to the books in one of her arms.

"What are those?" I asked.

"Nothing!" Kailah answered quickly. "Bye Harry!" She said before pulling Susan off with her, and I couldn't help but wonder if my judgment was right after all.

I made my way to the Great Hall in hopes of finding the others. Thankfully they were there, so I made my way over to them and took a spot between Niall and Zayn.

Everyone else was still involved in their conversations which I was thankful for, I wanted to keep this topic on a low attention level.

I nudged Zayn lightly. "What do you know about Kailah and Susan?"

"Please tell me you didn't piss them off..." Zayn said, his eyes widening slightly.

"No... At least I don't think so... Would that be bad?"

He nodded. "Those girls are trouble... They can get away with pretty much anything; do dirty work for Slytherin, in exchange for things they want. Why?"

"They got involved in one of their little plans I think..." I said swallowing. Probably should have trusted my judgement.

"Mate, I will form a prayer circle for you."

"Why are we forming a circle?" Niall asked entering the discussion late.

"Young Harold here has screwed himself." Zayn said with a smile as he patted me on my back.

"Oh... so how is a circle going to help him exactly..?"

Zayn shook his head at Niall and I laughed before focusing on the conversations around me.

As I looked over I noticed Potter was sitting with Liam and Danielle.

I tried to listen but only picked up on a few odd words as they were whispering.

"I know you two will be able to get a good head start on it, we'll come help you tomorrow after detention. Thank you again." Harry said as he handed them a book.

"What was that about?" I asked Danielle and Liam nodding towards the book.

"Ah nothing, Harry just needs our help with a ... project." Liam forced a smile.

I nodded again to make him think I bought it...

I turned my attention back to Zayn and Niall.

"Guess what boys; I'm involving you now too."

"You sure your girls are going to be up for that?" Zayn teased.

"They never said I couldn't have some help..."

"Well what are we going to do Haz?" Niall asked.

"First, we need to get detention.”

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Zayn asked, somewhat bored.

"The best way of course, is starting a fight with Malfoy." I said with a smirk.

And as my words sunk in, matching smirks found their way onto Zayn's and Niall's faces as well.
