Chapter 1

"Taylor wake up! It's the first day of high school!!" My mom cheered while rushing into my room. "AAAAHHHH" I yawned slowly getting out the bed. I walked over to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. I would wash my hair but I'm black and what a mess that would be.. My hair gets all curly, my friends and family all call my hair beautiful but It can be hard to handle.. So once I got out the shower I brushed my teeth put on my replenishing moisturizer on my face and let it settle in （it was my secret to soft clear skin 👌). While that was settling I went to my room to throw on my clothes. An boy was it a struggle I couldn't decide to base my outfit off my timberlands or jordan retro 11 legend blues my brother brought me. I finally decided on the timbs because it was suppose to rain and their was no way in hell I was getting my j's wet . NOT TODAY! so I threw on on some black leggings with a DETROIT VS EVERYBODY top and wrapped a plaid shirt around my waist.. I throw on a cute gold chain and put studs on both my first and second ear holes. I realized it was 6:30 and I needed to put a move on it so I ran into the bathroom washed my face wash off and put on some lite makeup. I wasn't too much of a makeup wearer but my friends did and to be honest if they did I kinda wanted to try it too. I mean it only enhanced my beauty as my mom said.. After I applied a little makeup I touched my hair up and threw on a SnapBack on and headed up front to eat breakfast. My mom made me the whole 9 yards pancakes (gluten free) egg whites turkey bacon and a smoothie. "Wow thanks mom" " no problem honey I want this to be one of the best days of your life.. I just can't believe my little girl is growing up so fast" she said with tears rolling down her face. I reached in giving her a big hug. Once I finished my breakfast I hopped in the car and drove off to school.
