Inu's POV

Where am I? Am I..Dead? No..I can't be..I can feel my heart beating..I can feel something on my hand too..I heard crying from somewhere to my right..Sakura? I finally opened my eyes, and slowly too. I sat up slowly. "Saku..ra.." I said, choking on my words and then coughing. "INU!" I heard

Sakura's voice screamed happily before I felt arms wrap around me. I hugged back with one arm, but I pulled out the senbon stuck near my chest. "I'm so glad you're alive, Tazuna she's alive!!" She said in my ear, with a throaty voice, as if she had been crying.

I pulled away and looked to my right to see Sasuke waking up, and looked down at the hand which lay on top of mine. It was his hand. I pulled it away quickly. Sakura went back to crying on Sasuke.

"Sakura..it's hard to breathe with you crying on top of me." I heard Sasuke mutter. I grinned at him. We were alive! But, how did he end up next to me? Guess I have to Ask Naruto..By the way..where is he.."

"What happened to the guy in the mask and Naruto?" I heard Sasuke say. I looked around and noticed Naruto with Kakashi-sensei. Relief Flooded my heart and I stood up fully. "Hey, shorty. I think you should rest." I heard Tazuna say to me, wiping his tears away. I glared at him, then looked to where Naruto was, slowly walking over there.

Zabuza had just died, I heard Sakura telling me to rest, but I ignored her. Suddenly, Sakura shouted, "Naruto! Over here! It's Sasuke! He's Alright!" I looked at Sakura signalling that I wanted to suprise Naruto, and she nodded.

"What about In-" Naruto said as he turned around and stopped turning when he looked at me, standing just a few feet away from him. He looked at me in shock, then he was running towards me, grabbing me in a hug. I laughed but winced in pain, since my wound hadn't healed yet. "Inu-chan!! You're ALIVE!" He shouted in happiness.

Then he pulled out of the hug and looked at Sasuke, who waved. I grinned. "How are we alive?" I asked Naruto quietly. He told me what Zabuza said. "I See.." I said, smiling brightly. I'm just glad we're alive. "Well, well wonders never cease.Amazing." Kakashi-sensei said and smiled at me through his mask. I smiled back.

"Hey. Yoohoo!" Gatou's Lackeys told and we looked at them, our guards up."Don't go getting too comfortable. This party ain't over yet. Who's gonna pay us now that Gatou's gone. No way are we gonna leave empty handed. So we'll just have to hit that village and see what they've got for us."

I stood up shakily looking at them. "Not Good." Kakashi-sensei said."Come on, Kakashi-sensei. You must have a jutsu that can take care of this bunch of Bastards." Naruto said, looking at Kakashi-sensei.

One of the lackeys managed to grab me I couldn't really put up much of a fight since I was out of chakra, "INU!" Naruto yelled, "if you don't want anything to happen to her you better let us through" the lackey holding me said

The lackeys started running towards them, but they were stopped by an arrow landing in front of them. They looked back to see Inari and the villagers. I grinned. So the kid got some courage after all. "There's one little thing you're forgetting about. Before you set one foot in our village, you'll have to go through all of us!" One of the villagers said and the entire group of villagers cheered

"Inari!" Naruto shouted happily. Said kid rubbed a finger under his nose and said."Heroes usually show up at the last minute, you know." I shook my head. This kid has been spending way too much time with Naruto. Naruto did the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Kakashi-sensei said,"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" And so many of him appeared. "Okay. Still want to fight?" All the clones said

The Lackeys ran away, shouting,"No thanks!" They saw that they were clearly out numbered. The lackey holding me threw me over the bridge my eyes widened and I screamed. "INU!" my team screamed, the last thing I saw before falling through the water was the faces of my team, "I can't use my chakra" I thought, the current of the water started pulling me, I struggled against the current but my vision started to blur "no" I thought as my eyes started to close, as I started losing consciousness I felt an intense pain in my back and I felt something pulling me as I passed out

I opened my eyes feeling the sun on them I groaned sitting up I looked around confused "where am I?" I thought as I looked around I saw that I was on the edge of the river near the bridge I looked at the bridge "so they finished it while I was gone" I thought I got up when I heard voices I started walking up the side of the bridge when I got to the top I saw my team saying goodbye to the villagers they all looked really sad "they must think I'm dead" I thought when they passed by me I said "would someone mind helping me up" their heads turned and looked at me they all looked shocked I smiled at them, Kakashi-sensei grabbed me and pulled me up onto the bridge I was immediately hugged by Naruto. I smiled as I hugged him back "what happened to you" Sakura asked "I honestly don't know" I said looking at them "ugh my body feels so tired" I muttered, Kakashi-sensei turned around and put me on his back "thanks Kakashi-sensei" I said he just nodded and they all started walking
