Kitty
Every morning is just the same.
With the warm sun peeking through but a cold feeling on just the other side of the bed. Outside the birds would chirp but inside no one tells her good morning except the white cat that rests at the foot of the bed.
Lee Seulgi was generally a happy person. She had no signs of any depression and she was a fairly social person. But she still feels utterly alone.
There's an empty feeling inside of her, because physically she's fine but mentally she's exhausted. Tired from begging to whatever power there be that one day she could just share her happiness, share something. Her cold bed, her life, her love, or whatever it is. She desperately wants someone, some guy, to love and for him to love her the same.
But for now she only has three males in her life.
"You're late." Seulgi scolded the boy juggling two toddlers along with three back packs. It was a funny sight but also just as pitiful seeing the struggling young man. Jungkook sighed exhausted as he let the two go, only Siho really running into the apartment and Liho persistent in holding on to his leg.
"Kitty!" Siho squealed seeing the white feline resting by the window.
"Papa." Liho whimpered digging his face into his fathers thigh refusing to let go. He was smart to know every time they came to this place Jungkook would be leaving him. And it was an occurring thing every time the twins were dropped off and a lesson still being taught to Liho that Jungkook will always come back for them no matter what.
"Liho we've been over this." Jungkook managed getting the boy off his leg. "Papa's not going to be gone too long. Don't you like our friend Seulgi?" Liho's eyes were already watering up looking between the two grow ups looking at him. He took one quick glance at Seulgi then staring back at Jungkook with his fingers in his mouth in a nervous habit.
Not having the time really Jungkook just gave his sensitive son a bear like hug kissing his cheek. "I'll miss you too Lee." Jungkook whispered for just the two of them to hear.
"Better leave before the water works." Seulgi softly said. It not only broke Jungkook's heart seeing the two year old sobbing, reaching out and falling for his father as he leaves for class, it hurt Seulgi as well. That such a small and innocent child could be so terrified of his father leaving him behind.
And her mind would always, just for split second, think of their mother being the cause of this.
But then again she doesn't know anything. She could only assume.
"Bye." Jungkook mouths waving as he makes his leave quickly leaving the girl with Liho quietly crying in the crook of her neck and Siho pestering the cat by the window.
The boys loved that cat, Siho constantly petting it, wanting to eat next to it, and playing with it's little toys. And even Liho, for once not being intimidated by something, enjoys the cats silky soft fur putting a smile on that usually pouty face whenever he was at the apartment with only Seulgi.
"Look at Jerry Liho." The girl pointed over to the window to get the toddlers mind off his father and instead something he enjoyed.
And just like Jungkook just seeing that little pout turn into a smile the moment his doe eyes landed on Jerry, the white cat the twins loved, that meant everything to Seulgi.
Because when the twins were over, she wasn't alone.
