The Truth

~Diggy's P.O.V~

I put the box full of our memories together and the note on the coffee table. I have a plan and I'm sticking to it. The note I left with the box confessed my true feelings towards her. I highly doubt that she's even going to read it anytime soon; knowing Winter she's probably gonna put it under the blanket her mother made her.

Jayden was 7 and Winter was 6 when their mother left. Ms. Natalie cheated on Mr. Brandon, more than once. She was too ashamed to look at Winter and Jayden's faces any longer knowing that there was a whole new family in the picture. She became pregnant. I know all of this because of this one time Winter and I were playing hide and seek when we were 10. I hid in the attic that's where I found it. Ms. Natalie's diary. I cant do this, I cannot bare to look at my children knowing I have cheated on their father and that there is another child growing inside of me. People think that we are the perfect family, we are not. What goes behind closed doors can really effect the outcome of this family. I have to leave. I have to leave, and never come back. These words stood out like a sore thumb. I had couldn't believe what I was reading, I had to tell Jayden; he needed to know answers. We decided together that it was better to withhold this information from Winter. Jayden was pretty messed up from finding out the truth, so he told me to imagine how messed up Winter would be.

I think that she is still sad about her mom leaving, and I haven't been exactly helping her by bullying her. I was supposed to protect her. Now I have to protect her from myself. I just realized, I've been so into thought I didn't even notice that I was staring out the window looking at her house. I see 2 unfamiliar male faces entering  her backyard! I've got to call her!
