Her mom and dad had the perfect marriage; Samantha always stood by her husband Tommy side. She was on his right hand side when he was elected Governor two years in a row, following his father legacy. Samantha even stood by his side when four women accuse him of having an affair with him. Samantha would tell the girls not to watch TV, assuring Lana and Adele that what the women were saying was a lie. It’s just a sick ploy to get money from your father, trust me, you dad loves you girls. He would never hurt you. Adele remembers her mother promising. But after she was admitted to the hospital everything change, her parents were never home. Adele and Lana always heard their parents arguing. Adele couldn’t help but think she was the cause, which made her crave the site of her blood. It was her punishment for ruining her family. It calmed her, made her focus on physical pain, not internal. The sound of a loud bang brought Adele out of her head.
“Are you even listening to me…” Mark asked calmly, bending down to look her in the eyes. Before he brought his attention to Adele bloody arm, he shook his head, as he straighten his back. “You’re one messed up kid you know that? Just sitting their making yourself bled, that’s gross. I really didn’t believe what those stupid blogs wrote, but seeing you now, you made me a believer kid.” He said as he made his way to the door.
“What are you talking about?” Adele couldn’t help but asked.
Mark sighed like she was causing him so much unwanted stress, “everyone says you’re weak kid, it’s these blogs on the internet that talks about how you’re the fragile one. They said that it was only a matter of time before you crack and go crazy. Did you ever question why reporters never talk to you? Your Sister Lana, she is always talking to reporters, she always says the right thing to make them back off. She can handle the spot light, you however, well you cant. Your father campaign actually forbids any reporter to talk to you, said if he found out someone talked to you. Well, they’re going to regret it. But I knew that the only way to get the story that I wanted was to talk to the weakest link. I knew it was just a matter of time before your dad got caught, the cheating bastard always had a way of diverting the attention of his affairs, and don’t forget paying the women off. I will admit, he did last longer than I thought, and let’s not also forget all the other women that didn’t broadcast your father affairs. I don’t know why your mother stayed with him as long as she did. Made for the prestige, I don’t know. Well it was nice talking to you, let’s do this again Adele. Later.”
Adele sat numbly in the black hard chair, as she replayed everything Mark just said. She glanced at her now bruised wrist, watching the blood drip onto the desk. They were right, I am weak.

“Did you happen to bring Angel Dust?” Lana asks while staring around the empty classroom Jack brought her to.
Jack raises a single eyebrow, “I did actually. I figure that after two months of constant flashing lights aimed at your pretty face you might need something stronger than Candy-X.” Jack replied while taking out a small bag that held white powdery substance inside that Jack and Lana named Angel Dust, a rolled of dollar bill, a silver razor, and a black small tray. Lana watches closely as Jack set everything up. Lana blue eyes light up with that familiar excitement, when Jack handed her the rolled up dollar bill and the black tray.
