JOSH

when he picks: it's usually a cult movie or something classic. he usually gets really excited about it and talks during it a lot, but you don't mind it because he's too cute. he loves to know your opinion about the movie, especially if it's one that he really likes.

when you pick: you always try to pick something that's out of josh's normal picks and he loves that about you. even if it's just a blockbuster or one that he wouldn't particularly watch on his own, he just loves to know your taste in film and your thoughts about it. he also doesn't mind that he gets to cuddle you throughout the whole thing.

JAKE

when he picks: horror movies. he says it's because he loves it, but really, he doesn't mind movies that much and just wants an excuse to keep you close. you'd always end up cuddled up into his chest, now whether you were really scared or not, it didn't matter.

when you pick: you love romantic comedies and jake would never admit this to you or anyone else, but he secretly does too. he rolls his eyes whenever there's a cliche line in the movie, but you sometimes catch him getting slightly emotional during it.

SAM

when he picks: it's either a really good, thought inducing movie with great actors and an outstanding plot or a really bad, low budget movie with no plot at all. there's no in between. whether it's debating over the plot or laughing at how dumb the movie is, you both always have fun.

when you pick: you always pick something light hearted and funny because movies are supposed to be a good time. you both always end up making fun of the whole thing together or remaking the scenes in ridiculous voices.
