Chapter Seven Why?!

Jordan's P.O.V.

"No I am not ok Enoch." I say as I start crying

"Shh! We will get Riley back I promise." Enoch said

"How?! You know how Pitch is." I wipe the mascara that ran down my face

"I know we will." He says

I get up then I start walking towards my locker. I get there and I open my locker to see three notes fall out. One was from my dad? The second one was from Jamie. And the last one was from Riley.

1: Hey sweet girl. I need to ask you something when you get home. Please come straight to the garden. -Dad

2: Hey I need to talk to you after school. Come to the gym after school. -Jamie

3: Hey cousin. I am really sorry about how I acted. It's not me who has control over my body. I need you to help me. I know how I acted. But I need you to shoot me in the heart with your ice. But I might survive. I might not. If I don't just tell everyone I love them. And I will miss them. -Riley

I keep rereading Riley's note. I start crying again. Emily, Jamie, Keeli, Mitchell, Hailey, and Kristie come running up.

"Jordan! What's wrong?" Jamie asks

"R-r-read this." I hand them the note and they all gasp

"He can't seriously do this." Emily says

"Jordan you can't do this." Hailey says

"Why does he want you to do this?" Kristie asks

"Jordan are you seriously go to do this?" Keeli asks

"Guys leave her alone." Enoch says as he walks up

"E-Enoch, I can't do this. I won't do it to Riley." I say

"But he said you have to." Hunter says as he walks by

"GO AWAY!" I yell at him

I get up and run into Riley and he frowns.

"Jordan I am really sorry. But please do it right now." He says

"I-I can't do it." I say and start crying

"Please do it. I am begging you." He says and he gulps

"Fine." I say and I touch his chest and shoot

"Ugh!" He says "What happened?!" He asks

"RILEY?!" I yell and hug him

"Oh my gosh Jordan." He says and hugs back

"I am so glad your back." I say
