12 - confused

Louis P.O.V

I sat on the couch with Liam and Zayn as we all watched a movie. Zayn and Liam had been together officially for the past month and I could tell they really liked each other. I was watching the screen when suddenly I felt chills take over my body and I furrowed my brows grabbing onto the couch "no.. what?" I whispered to myself. "You okay?' Liam asked and I felt around the couch grabbing my phone "y-yeah" I have to go see something. I rushed into my room and dialed Harrys number as I put my hand under my lamp. My shadow was gone again. "Lou?" Harry said sounding confused as well "it's gone again" I said "I know mine is too" he said making me run a hang through my hair. "Can I come over?" I said and Harry paused "wait I have an idea, Ill get a cab and come get you and we'll go to where the shadows went before and we can see if they're still there" he said and I nodded even though he couldn't see me "okay sounds good".

After he came to get me we had the driver drop us off a block away from the street by the park. We started walking when Harry spoke up "Why do you think they still left?" I sighed I have no idea". "Why the park?" I asked and he hummed "maybe because that's where we always hung out as kids, remember we played at that park all the time where kids didn't really play at". I nodded "yeah that would make sense". We walked up the street "there" I said pointing, seeing our shadows under the street lamp. "They're dancing again" Harry said as we stood by the lamp. The shadows not caring about our presence. "W-what if-" Harry started but stayed quiet cutting himself off "what is it?" I said. "Nothing..." I looked at Harry, "H what is it?" he chuckled and shrugged "what if we danced... maybe it will fix it or I don't know". I chuckled "lets try it" we stepped out under the light more as the shadows danced a couple feet away. Harry wrapped one of his arms around my waist and I rested one on his shoulder as we connected our hands. Harry slowly started moving as we moved together. I felt my cheeks heat up as we danced, our faces close. "can I tell you a secret" Harry said as we moved in sync "of course" I said. "I-I used to have a crush on you when we were kids. We always talked about running away together on a big paper airplane and you and me against the world... I always pictured us being together" he admitted, his cheeks getting a tint to them. I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked up at him "I liked you too Harry... which I think confused me because I didn't really know why I wasn't crushing on girls it was you". He chuckled as he twirled me out then back in making me smile "well that's cool we found each other again", I nodded looking up at him our eyes locking "yeah it is". We both swayed side to side together slowly our eyes locking. We both looked over at the shadows and the figures faces connected making Harry and I both turn red, realizing what they were doing. Harry and I slowly stopped moving before my breathe hitched in my throat and our eyes locked "W-well um... they" "kissed" I said in almost a whisper. Harry glanced down at my lips and I looked at his before I felt myself start leaning in. Harry leaned down his hand moving to touch my cheek. My eyes fluttered shut as our lips connected. His lips were soft and molded against mine perfectly. I wrapped both my arms around his neck as our lips moved together. My tongue slid across his and he opened his mouth slightly, or tongues grazing each other. I felt my heart beating fast as we slowly pulled away. I looked up at Harry my cheeks flushed pink, a small smile appeared on his lips as we stayed in each others arms. Suddenly we both let out gasps. We looked over seeing our shadows gone from next to us. I looked down moving my hand "they're back to us" I said and Harry nodded testing his shadow out.

We stood for a moment in silence before I nodded "I-it worked" Harry nodded and cleared his throat "y-yeah I guess it did".
