One month later, I lay in Connor's bed at the O2L house, hiding from him under the covers.

It happened so fast. A week after we met, Connor and I hooked up- and truthfully, I thought it was gonna be a one week hookup and then we we break up- but no. And quite frankly, I was happy it didn't happen that way.

"Maddy, stop it!"

Connor yelled, trying to pull the covers from under me. I laughed, wrapping myself up even more.

"Maddy, do you even remember where we are supposed to be right now?" He questioned, annoyed.

"Uh, not exactly. Where are we supposed to be?" I sat up, pulling the blanket up to my chin.

"At your house. For breakfast. With everybody else!" He sighed, leaning against the door.

"Oh my. Con, I'm so sorry! I'll be ready in a minute- just, one second." I jumped up, running into the bathroom. I pulled on a pair of jeans and a loose tee, and put my hair back into a messy bun. I brushed my teeth, but only for a minute, popped a piece of gum into my mouth, and ran back out. Once I got downstairs, Connor was standing at the door, waiting impatiently.

"Ready, honey?" Once he saw me, he smiled, opening the door.

"Why, how the sudden change in attitude?" I laughed, wrapping my hands lightly around his waist.

"Tell me this- if a Queen was being an ass towards her King, would he hold a grudge?" He looked down at me, raising his eyebrows. I smiled, raising mine back.

"Well, I'm not too sure, your highness." He laughed, laying a small kiss on my head, and then we walked out the door.

"What took you guys so long?"

Kaleigh threw open open the door, an angry look plastered on her face.

"Sorry, Maddy was being a bit of a jerk." Connor glared at me playfully, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Connor, shut up." I laughed, pushing past Kaleigh. When I stepped into the living room, Kian and Sam sat on the floor. I smiled at them, and then walked into the bathroom. I checked out my reflection in the mirror. Although, a few seconds later I realized I looked like crap, so I walked back out. When I reached the kitchen, Connor sat at the table, gesturing for me to sit on the chair beside him.

"Well, your food is cold." Kaleigh shook her head in dissapointment, putting the plates of bacon, eggs, and hash browns in front of Connor and I.

"Well, that's not my fault Maddy is a jerk."

I gasped, moving back.

"Um, excuse me, I am not a jerk. And, would you please stop calling me a jerk. If anything, your a jerk, since you insist on calling me one."

He laughed, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Whatever, you jerk."

I sighed angrily, but I had to forgive him. I mean, he was the love of my life, the one I planned on being with for a long, long time.

Or so I thought.

Well, that was short.

And a bit of a dissapointment.

Sorry for a short chapter- I'm kind of working on another story that-wait for it- isn't a fanfiction 🙊 Oh my, what happened.

Anyways, I'm really exited to start this book. Hopefully it'll turn out ok 👍

Hope you like this story and stay fab ✌️
