One night.

In this night, my heart went from it's peak to it's worst.

One night.

I honestly thought we had it good... We hung out all the time, went to each other's houses. Not makeout sessions or anything- but short and sweet kisses that meant a lot more to me than kissing for, like, an hour. Although, I guess I should have been a little worried when the amount of time we spent together was lowering, and we didn't talk as much. It didn't really bother me though, because I just thought he was busy with youtube stuff.

But no.

There was another girl. A girl that I didn't even know existed.

It all happened so fast. We sat in the parking lot, throwing around a tennis ball Kian found behind a tree. Nobody else was around. Ricky left- he said the club scene wasn't really his thing, so he went home. Kian, the only one who actually got drunk, was wobbling around, putting his arms on my shoulder. I laughed, pushing him off.

"Hey, I'm just tryin' to be a nice guy." He slurred, almost falling down.

"Kian, if your a nice guy, go sit on that bench.

"I don't like benches. They're mean." He pouted towards the bench, folding his arms. I laughed, shaking my head.

"Just leave him alone. When he gets like this, there's no point in trying to help him." Connor sighed, standing up from his seat on he bench. I smiled, pulling him towards me. His warm breath tickled my ears, his soft hands stroked my hair. I tried to tune everything out, tried to make the most of every moment spent together-

But then she showed up.

"Connor! Connor, look! It's me!"

The girl ran towards us, smiling. I thought she was a friend of his- another youtuber, perhaps.

When she reached us, she smiled playfully at Connor. After standing there like a rock, Connor spoke.

"Uh, Makayla, what are you-" She cut him off, moving closer.

"Well, you weren't just gonna hook up with me and then leave, were you?" She questioned, staring into his eyes. He looked around frantically, back and forth between Jc and I. Tears started forming in my eyes, my fists clenched at my side.

"Uh, what are you, uh, talking about?" He spoke between shuddered breaths. Jc stepped forward, looking straight at Connor.

"Maddy, get in the car." He stuttered, pointing to Ricky's car that had just pulled in. I considered it, then stood my ground, glaring at Connor,

"No. I want to hear this." I wasn't sure that he heard me, though, since my words were jumbled together in result of my crying. He didn't say anything, though, so he must've got the message.

Tears started forming in Connor's eyes,

and he made no effort to hide them.

"Maddy, It's not what it looks like." He spoke firmly, but it wasn't convincing.

I fumed, letting it all out.

"It isn't? Because it looks like you were bored and you went and had sex with a different girl! It looks like you were only used me like a toy, just to be thrown away. I thought you were different, Connor. I liked you, I really did. While I thought you were making YouTube videos, you were actually hooking up with this slut- sorry - and I bet I completely left your mind, you ignorant, unappreciative little-" Jc cut me off, clasping my shoulder.

"Maddy, we should go." He nodded towards the car, where Ricky stood outside, his head slightly tilted. I reluctantly agreed, following Jc. As an afterthought, I turned around towards Connor, a scowl on my face.

"Jerk." I flipped around, walking to the car with Jc and Kian. Jc turned around and walked back towards Connor. I heard a few coins drop to the ground, a few rolling to my feet.

"Don't go near her. Ever again." I heard Connor start to cry, and tried so hard not to turn around and run to his side. Once we were in the car and on our way to Jc's house, I broke down.

Okay. That was unexpected.

I think people find these stories more interesting when there is drama- so natuarally, I added drama. It might get worse, it might get better...Just keep on reading! Oh. and one more thing- I have recently discovered that A LOT of fanfics have the name Maddy, or Madelyn in it. I promise I don't go scouting for names from other stories. I know it's just a name, but I don't like the feeling of others thinking your copying somebody, so yeah.

Stay fab ✌️
