STEVE ROGERS WOKE UP bright and early for his daily morning run, but an arm around his waist and a small body curled up in his side kept him from getting up. He glances down at the brunette, her head resting on his stomach. Sighing softly, his hand came up to trace the small tattoo on her wrist, a small smile forming on her lips at his soft touch. A new habit Steve has picked up — tracing the tattoo on her wrist, more like the side of her arm, which was an outline of a small dagger, or track her upper —more like between her shoulder blades — spinal tattoo, which was a celestial one, when she wore a tank top. A star, sun, star, crescent moon, a star and three small dots, in that order.

She never told him what the meanings were of her tattoos, which fascinated him more about them. Raegan claims she has four total, but he's only seen three — the dagger, rose, and celestial. He's gotten obsessed with them and is a little impatient to see the so called "other one" she had; which were not seen peaking out of any type of clothing she wore. Raegan didn't complain either as his fingers delicately traced her tattoos, she loved the touch — and it became a sort of relaxing method for both.

A year has passed and the two avengers decided to just live together. They decided to move to Washington, d.c. and into a two bedroom apartment, though for the past four months, Raegan Black has been sneaking into his room in the middle of the night and cuddling with him or just simply laying next to him, missing her cat who sadly passed away shortly after they moved in.

Steve didn't mind one bit. At first he was kind of nervous to be sleeping in the same bed as a female since he never done it before, but slowly and surely he started to warm up to it, enjoying the presence of the girl. It gave him comfort, and it definitely made his nightmares go away and even calmed down his PTSD. Raegan wouldn't admit it out loud, not like Steve did when be told her it helped him — but she felt the same. She felt as her nightmares weren't as bad and frequent when she was sleeping next to Steve, same goes for the slight PTSD.

Steve slowly unwraps his arm from around her, his hands going to her hand and slowly lifting her arm up which causes her to groan and squeeze onto him tighter. Steve sighs, brushing a strand of messy hair out of her face, "Rae, I need to go for my jog."

Raegan ignores him, holding tightly onto him. "no you don't."

Steve lays there for a few minutes, waiting for the brunette to go back to sleep. Once her breathing was shallowed, he reached behind him slowly, grabbing onto the pillow. He quickly and skillfully gets out of her tight grip, placing the pillow where he used to be, seeing as this wasn't his first time doing it. He leans down onto the floor, slipping on his grey under armor shirt. After he did that, he leaned down to press a small kiss against her temple, something he always does before his run, whispering a "i'll be back in an hour or so" before sliding on his shoes and leaving the agent to sleep.
