Killian Grahams
"Bye mom!" I yelled before walking out of my house. I got in my blue Prius and drove to school. After going to the gym and getting my schedule, I was finally in my first period class.
After 30 minutes of sitting in- well what ever this class is - Mary at my left side started speaking up.
"Do you have any idea what this guy's saying?" She asked as she tried to keep up with notes.
I just shook my head and stared at the clock. tick-tock tick-tock. okay so that won't get me anywhere. Okay so the reason why I am so unfocused, you may ask? it's because I haven't seen Amanda in three years.
She doesn't even call or write or text. okay now I sound clingy but I can't help but wonder if she'll come back. Suddenly a sharp pain in my right side snapped me back to reality.
I shot my gaze in that direction and realized my friend Archie (A/N::I can't remember the name I said before) had elbowed me in my side.
"What the hell man?" I asked in a little bit of pain. All he did was point towards the door. I rolled my eyes as I looked over towards the door. what could be so important for him to- whoa. In the door way stood a girl, with a familiar face but also newish. Her brown hair came down to her waist and framed her figure perfectly.
It wasn't her model figure or her flawless skin that caught my eye though, it was her eyes. They remind me so much of Amanda's. I watched as she searched the room for what seemed like familiar faces. Her eyes stopped when they met mine then they went slightly wide as if she recognized me but went back to normal when I gave her a confused face, trying to comb my memories of a girl like her.
She met gazes with the teacher and they talked but everyone kept talking around me so I couldn't hear. Suddenly they turned towards us.
"Could you tell the class your name?" The teacher asked the girl in front of the class.
"Aria Carter." She answered with a bit of an English accent.
"Go ahead and take a seat anywhere you like." The teacher said before going back to the board.
Aria looked around for a minute and her eyes lit up when she looked in my direction. my heart skipped a beat when she made eye contact with me and smiled slightly but the I saw Mary give her a glare which didn't stop Aria from slightly smiling. She started walking past me and then Archie made my pencil fall from my desk and Aria squatted down and picked it up as I reached down at the same time making our hands brush each other.
I felt a slight jolt the second it happened but didn't let it show as she let go of my pencil.
"Well there's your pencil." she said before going to the seat right behind me. I could feel Mary's eyes glaring at the side of my head. We're not even dating and she acts like a jealous girlfriend. I turned around and was face-to-face with Aria. Why did the name Aria Carter sound so familiar?
She leaned on her forearms against the desk and sort of glanced at the teacher then back at me. She held out her hand.
"I'm Aria," she said but then I said "You just told the class that."
"I know I did, just wanted a proper introduction." she said with her eyes lighting up.
"Right," I took her hand the shocks coming back," I'm Killian."
"Nice to meet you Killian," she said while shaking our hands with a smile.
"Nice to meet you too, Aria." I said back and we let our hands go.
