Chapter 10

Danny's P.O.V

I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Travis was just trying to be a good friend. It was the next day and it was just beautiful outside.

"Morning everyone!" Jennifer said glowing with excitement.

"Morning!" Said Coley handing her a plate of toast.

I started to pack our picnic and asked Jennifer what she wanted to eat. She said her favorite sandwich was grilled cheese. Mine too.

It was almost 2 so I suggested we get going. "Bye guys!" Hunter said and Charles, coley, and Travis waved bye. Travis winked at me.

We walked over to the beach wearing our suits. We held each others hands and talked.

We got to the beach and as soon as we set out feet on the sand Jennifer said "race ya!" Running to the water. I placed the basket down and chased after her.

We reached the water and I pushed her in. "It's cold!!!" She shrilled laughing. She pulled me in. I laughed. We splashed each other and went out into the water.

We floated on the water and I held her hand so we wouldn't drift apart. After an hour we headed back to the beach to eat.

"Good thing I brought hand sanitizer" I said pumping it onto my hand.

"Sissy" she said grinning at me. I grinned at her and pumped sanitizer in her hands.

"Well I like to be clean" I said and she laughed. We ate our food and decided to make some sand castles. She also buried me in the sand.

The sun was going down so we decided to make the bonfire.

We cuddled and sat on a blanket sipping wine.

"Danny?" She said looking into my eyes.

"Yes?" I said looking back into hers.

She kissed me and set down her glass. I did the same and she put her arms around my neck. We kissed for so long that we had to stop to catch our breaths.

"I really like you Danny" she said holding my hand.

"I like you too".
