Chapter 14:

Back at the Dorms Yosano and Caiden had already been there for twenty minutes. They were now both sitting with Maiya on the couch in the communal area. I was about to call out their names but reconsidered as they appeared to be in the middle of a conversation. So carefully I snuck in behind them and listened. They were just talking about the changes to Yosano’s Quirk until, I heard Maiya moan then tell Caiden to stop. So quickly I leaped over the couch and grabbed him by the neck. Maiya grabbed my arm and told me to stop, then as I tried to brush her hand away Yosano pulled me off of him and onto the floor. I struggled to escape before Maiya began shouting at me, “Midoriya what are you doing to my boyfriend”. I stood confused by her words, leaving me stood still, and my jaw fell open. “W-what did you just say Maiya”, she stared at me blankly. She asked me what I meant and so I looked towards Yosano for him to explain. I asked them whether or not they were dating, and Yosano brushed Maiya aside and explained, “Maiya although not blood related was the only source of family that I had and so we agree that we prefer to be that rather than friends or lovers”. I nodded as Aizawa came busting in through the door and demanded that all of class 1-A come into the communal area.

It took half an hour for us to get everyone downstairs. Aizawa addressed us explaining that “the school has decided as 1-A, being that it is the more popular class, shall be the ones handing out leaflets to the public”, as a way to promote UA. he told us that we all shall get into our hero uniforms and head out to the bus outside. So quickly we obliged.

The bus journey was not to long, and had left us in the middle of the city just outside the park. We walked around for fourty long minutes. Kirishima and a few of the others started to become restless. I turned around, from talking to a mother and her child to, see Yosano talking to two police officers. I was about to walk over to him when I heard a person scream from behind me. All of us turned around to see: the league of villains, an army of twenty nomu, what appeared to be every villain in this half of Japan all followed by All for one floating behind them with a new respiratory mask. Yosano stood beside me calculating the area he built a dome over them all and demanded that the rest of us evacuate the civilians. He then told me, Dai, and Caiden  to stand alongside him ready to attack. We were standing guard for ten minutes, as Yosano pushed as much energy as he could into his shield, with constant bombardment from the villains within it. He shouted for me to help figure out what we should do. Just then a large energy came bursting out from the top of the large dome causing the whole thing to break down, and sending all of us flying backwards. All for one quickly came floating down towards his son who was laying on the ground unconscious. He picked him up using his claw and began to drain the energy from within him. Yosano began to scream in pain trying to fight back whilst unable to move. I strained to reach out as a bullet came breaking directly through All for one’s head causing it to explode out the other side. As Yosano dropped back to the floor I rolled over to see Juo standing at the park gates Revolver in hand still smoking. He lightly blew over the end of the barrel to cool it down, before placing it back into the holster and running over.

We strained to get back onto our feet feeling bruised already. I quickly ran over to Yosano who was staring at where his Gem once sat now gone. He brushed it off saying that it won't matter. so we stood, the five of us side by side, primed to strike. We looked at each other deciding to charge as one unit into battle. United we decided to say our final words together, “A hero’s duty is to protect without any regard towards their safety compared to the safety of others. So once again we shall go beyond”, there was a brief pause before breaking into our battle cry, “PLUS ULTRA”, we called out as we charged towards the onslaught of enemies before us.
