I turn around to Malcom shouting my name

He was crying

I run to him

"You're safe now okay?"

He nodded

I sit on the floor he sits on my lap

"You're safe"

He's safe now

"You're safe now"

It all goes downhill now

I cradled him in my arms until he stopped crying

"He-he my new daddy how you know him?"

I look up at everyone

"He did to me what he did to you?"

"Did he put you in the fire"

"Yeah...."

"He threaten me with it"

"It's hurts buddy"

He nodded

We stood up and I picked him up and held him at my side

I get my phone out of my pocket

"Karen"

"Yes Ethan?"

"I've uh got Malcom here at school"

"Wh-"

"Same reason as I came back"

"Well how did he get there"

"He got driven by his foster parent and it happened to be my old foster parent"

"Ethan I'm on my way where's the parent"

"He's uh on the floor..."

"I've got to to go I'll see you in a minute"

I hung up

I walk up to James,Emma,Grace,Meredith,Grayson and Jessica

"Wanna play a game?"

"Yeah sure"

"Let's just wait until Karen to get here"

"Explain the rules"

"Okay we sit in a circle and for an example I say 'put your hand in if you went to the park with anyone in this room' but the twist is you get to ask to ask more questions about that topic like 'take your hand out if it was james' or something"

"Oh I get it"

Karen got here after us waiting awkwardly for an hour

I put Malcom on the floor and watch how he runs to Amy

The hugged and we all left to play our game

We figured it out that Jessica was going first

We all sat in mine and graces room
