Life never seemed to be easy in this house. Reginald was quite the bitch, and most of his siblings paid him no mind. Klaus, however, seemed to resent this treatment the most out of all his siblings, sans Vanya. When Ben died, though, his resentment grew bigger, into hate and anger. His father had done this. His father had killed the only friend that he had.

Klaus left the academy after that. He would not be subject to the same fate as Ben. He knew he wouldn't be missed by whatever siblings decided to stay, they all thought he was a worthless druggie, and Klaus loved to play the act. Why not convince them of something that wasn't true? It just meant he got out of missions.

Klaus was pretty well off, he didn't mind sleeping around to get money or an apartment. He was a master at the art of seduction after all, and he's happily pay rent that way if need be.

As the years went by and Klaus honed his skills, his resentment for his father only grew, as well as the resentment to his siblings who ignored him even now when he tried to get closer. These feelings seemed to rub off on Ben, though, he had no feelings of revenge or wanting to harm them. A push was all he needed, a simple lie. Klaus was good at lying. And lie he did.

Klaus was a simple man. While he had his own apartment, he liked to visit the academy, only to see Grace. He'd occasionally run into Luther before he was sent to the moon, but he wouldn't look at him, only thinking of him as a druggie. Today, sunny and warm, was just like the other days he had visited, aside from the vile of poison he hid in his coat pocket.

The plan was simple, and he had Ben to help him. He knocked out Pogo and turn Grace off. He decided to make Reginald some soup, nothing to big, pouring the vile into the bowl as well.

Reginald didn't last long. The look of shock and betrayal on his face was extremely satisfying to Klaus. Ben helped with making sure nobody knew. Ben made sure they were meticulous about hiding and destroying anything that might give them away.

Then they left, all that was left to do now was to wait.
