I didn't know it was Ellie that Dean was talking to. Well, I didn't know at first.
While Renee was busy getting girls to join her sorority, I peered over at Dean making conversation with some blonde. Her hair was in a bun and she was dressed pretty cute. Not trying too hard like Renee usually does.
I can't lie, I was curious who this mystery girl was. I'd like to think I'm dating the hottest girl on campus and, trust me, Renee is hot. But I'd never seen this girl before.
Dean was laughing with this girl, and pulling out his phone to get her number I presume. My guy, I thought to myself as Dean was a 7 possibly getting with a solid 10. But then I saw it.
The girl brought her hand behind her to twirl her invisible hair which was being held captive on top of her head. A nervous tick I know all too well.
Eleanor Rhodes.
After ruining her moment with Dean, which he would move on from in less than a few hours with whatever other girl came along, I didn't feel bad.
I was reminded by Jack's words to me a few weeks ago about being nicer to her, but in my opinion, I was being nice. Dean would just hurt her and as much as I try to tell myself I don't care, I couldn't do that to her.
I was surprised to see that she dyed her hair. She was so beautiful with her previous color and it threw me for a loop. Not that I care much.
I'm sure at some point I'd hear from Jack about this confrontation, but for now I don't care.
