The truth about Jong Suk

Jongsuk POV

*13 yrs ago*

I was walking into a thrift shop on my way to school to get a gift for my younger sister because it is her birthday and she was in the hospital so I plan on getting the panda stuff toy she saw at a thrift shop.She said that the panda was the only thing she wanted most in the world so I plan on getting it.The Stuffed panda was pretty big but pretty old,it might be from someone who donated it,but my sister doesn't care about that at all.

I entered the thrift shop and found the panda but once I grabbed it I felt another hand trying to grab it too

"Hey that is mine!" Shouted a girl from beside me.

"I grabbed it first and I am going to buy it" I said to her.

"This is actually mine! Mom auctioned it off 2 months ago and I'm getting it back!" She said

Come to think of it,that girl was actually crying.I thought for a second and I let go of the bear.Tears fell from her eyes as she saw me give the panda bear to her.

"Go on,take it,It was yours from the start" I said handing her the bear

"Kamsahabnida!" She said then left for the counter

I noticed her wearing the same uniform as I am and noticed her name tag, Song Amanda (송아만다).After that I walked away from the store thinking what I should get for my little sister.School is about to start so I got on the bus and rode to Yangchung Middle School.

While I was walking the halls I noticed in one of the classrooms that same girl I saw from the thrift shop walking towards her locker and placing the panda in there,Then She went outside the classroom.

I walked to her casually and said...

"So *looking at her nametag* Song Amanda-ssi"
"Oh your the guy from the thrift shop! Lee Jong Suk?"

Amanda POV

Why is the guy from the thrift shop here among all schools? And he is 2-3 yrs older than me because he is holding a textbook which people use above 2 levels from me.

"Shouldn't you call me JongSuk Oppa? Since I'm older than you?" He said

"Alright! JongSuk Oppa,What can I do for you?"

"I just want to ask something,Why is that Panda bear so important to you?" He asked

"My dad is working abroad right now,This panda is the only thing he gave me and I promised I would take care of it.I worked part time and didn't spend my allowance even for food just to get that panda back.You see while Dad is working abroad we don't have much money that is why Mom auctioned some of our stuff and by the time I realised my Panda was gone I couldn't sleep for days and worked all my life just to get it back" I said

"Oh I didn't know about that,Mianhe!" He said

"It's okay!At least I got him back,Thanks to you,Kamsahabnida!" I said

"It's no big deal really!" He said

"Hmm tell you what,let me buy you lunch today as a thank you for getting my panda back,I insist" I said

"Alright" He said

Author POV

After that they were really close.They supported each other even after they graduated college,until one day.

JongSuk POV

I can't believe its almost time for my enlistment.These past years I've spent with Amanda was the best! I really Like Her,No! I Love Her.I can't stand to lose her.That's it I'm gonna tell her how I feel the day before the enlistment.

I met up with her by our favorite restaurant,The one were she treated me Lunch.

"Sorry I'm Late" She Said,"No problem!" I said

"So what was it that you wanted to tell me?"

"Oh that, I'm going to the military next week"

"Oh really? Aww I'll miss you Jongsukiee"

"Hey! I'm older than you,you know? Hahahaha"

"Just once,you are going away for like years"

"Fine HAHAHAHA"

I wasn't able to tell her how I feel about her.But I will be back and she will stay with me.

(A few months later)

I received a letter from Amanda

Dear Jongsuk,

I miss you so much.It has been 2 months since you left the military.You are one of my very close friends.I am happy to tell you that I am doing great!You don't need to worry about me hehe.Oh! Right! I have a boyfriend now,his name is Min Yoongi hehee.He is gonna debut soon as an idol.I am so proud of him.I love and miss you best friend!

Once I read it I immediately felt tears roll down my cheeks.It hurts so much.

The person I love has someone else already.I am so hurt,but I will love her forever.

I came back from the military and became an Idol.Then I received a call from Amanda

"Jong Sukieee I'm getting marriedd!!"

"Jinjja? Ya! Amanda! I'm invited right?"

"Of course you are! Hahahahhaa i'll text you the details okay?"

"Arasso"

After I ended the call my heart broke into a million pieces.She is getting married and now I can't confess😞Attending her wedding is the least I can do after all,even if it means seeing the only girl I love with someone else.

(3 days after)

I received a call from Mr. and Mrs. Song(Amanda's parents)

"Jong Suk ah,Amanda got into an accident,come here quick"

After that I immediately ran to the hospital.

I saw Amanda lying on the bed looking a little confused

"Jong Suk ah" They said."She has amnesia and can't remember you"

"What? What about yoongi? Does he know?"

"Well the members of his group came earlier and I told them"

Then Mr.Song whispered into my ear

"Jongsuk ah,Don't call her Amanda anymore,call her Dana"

"What? Why?"

"The doctors said that her condition could get worse and for that not to happen we have to change her name so that people who know who she is won't force her memories back"

"I understand"
