Chapter 4 Seal the deal

A/N: This chapter will be longer than the previous ones but enjoy!

Mr. Aizama's footsteps trailed off as another's approached but instead of opening the door Mina just sat down and slumped against it.
"Why can't i be left alone right now?" She muttered to herself.

The new set of footsteps were right outside her door, and it sounded like whoever it was sat down as well.
Mina let out a sigh, the thoughts in her head almost overwhelming her. She wanted the person to get lost but at the same time wanted them to stay.

She just sat there clenching her fist, her eyes tearing up again. "After the time we spend together, i thought our friendship was mmm" she said in a soft-spoken voice hoping the person outside didn't hear.

There was a knock on the door a voice "A-Ashido" it was Izuku, she could feel her eyes becoming watery. She brought her knees up to her chest hugging them as Izuku continued to speak.

"I k-know I'm the last person y-you want to see right now and... well I'm sorry what am I saying of course I'm sorry I hurt a friend, I hurt your feelings Mina" he stopped to take a breath then continued, surprising himself that his stuttering was stopping some what.

"I know it was very wrong of me to practice dancing only to say I'm not going, you're passionate about things especially dancing, so... the ball is next Friday and umm... well I think I will go only if you'll be there, on the condition that you'll be my first dance if you'll have me, since that's only fair"

He stood up and placed a hand on the door only to hear it being unlocked. It swung open, tears rolling down Mina cheeks her skin going back to pink but her cheeks remaining lilac.

"You-y-you" she began her fist still clenched but instead moved closer and put her arms around Izuku burying her head in his shoulder. Izuku tensed up at first but loosened up putting his arms around her neither saying anything even though one of her horns was digging into his chin.

Izuku and Mina agreed they'll just relax with their friends for a while and talk later that night since their emotions were all over the place. During lunch break Mina's phone went off, she started to panic a little as she looked.

She startled everyone around her "No no no I can't believe I forgot" she shouted aloud and every eye was trained on her. She sat back down but continued sinking looking at her phone.

As it was approaching 5pm Mina was growing anxious about the message she received earlier but had made up her mind and just needed to find 2 of her friends Yaoyorozu and Toru Hagakure the invisible girl.

Once she found them she went over to them, the butterfly feeling returning to her stomach as she got closer.
"Hey Momo Toru can I ask you two something?" She said pushing her index fingers together. "Sure, take your time though ok" Toru said.

Mina nodded to herself "Well ummm... o-of course it's about Midor- Izuku" she could feel her cheeks getting warm.
"I was wondering since the other girls can't make it tonight and it'll just be us three, would you two mind if I ummm" she couldn't continue. Both her friends gave her a hug "if you want to invite him that's fine" Yaoyorozu said. Mina's stomach did a backflip WHAT!! I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING HOW DO THEY KNOW her insides screamed.

"I don't think Izuku forgave himself" Toru spoke pointing behind Mina. Izuku was waking outside and the 3 girls slowly followed.
"A week to go I've gotta make this up to her" Izuku said to himself. The spot he stopped at was where he first attempted to dance.

He got out his phone and chose a song, the song he and Mina slow danced to in his room last night. He started dancing as if he was holding someone. The girls hearts melted as they saw this, both Momo and Toru playfully nudging Mina who tried to stay hidden.
