a ray of sunshine had the opportunity to go through minyoung's window, causing the girl to unwillingly groan. it was the first day for her as a student in south korea after so long so it will be exciting yet nerve-wracking for her. she hasn't spoken to students, besides jeongin and their encounter with jisung and jeongin, in her native language. she was so used to speaking in english to other fellow students.
"get up minyoung or jeongin is going to leave you behind!" her sister yelled downstairs.
after running to their neighborhood last night, jeongin dropped her off at her own house only to be tackled by none other than eunbi herself. eunbi being a '95 liner, kept on saying how much he hasn't changed since. of course it ended as soon as minyoung had to drag her sister upstairs before jeongin dies under her embrace.
minyoung started her simple, yet long morning routine. it was just taking a shower, wear clothes, eat, and then off to school but it takes long because she decided to enjoy the sensation of a hot shower.
her uniform was in fact very pretty, similar to her sense of fashion. although the skirt was a little too short for her liking. she decided to wear black leggings with white stripes at the sides.
"what's for breakfast?" she asked as she slung her backpack over her shoulder. her backpack wasn't heavy at all, just filled with a few books and her pencil case. she was worried that the school will give those heavy textbooks with more than two-hundred pages.
eunbi smiled at her sister's presence, "just some pancakes cause mom and dad already left to work. jeongin is coming in a quarter to seven by the way."
"what?" minyoung blurted, "i woke up this early?" she looked at the time and it was 06:35 am.
"school starts differently remember?" eunbi flicked her forehead and placed a fresh stack of pancakes along with maple sauce on it. minyoung didn't want to waste her energy and began devouring her pancakes.
as if on cue, the two girls heard a bell.
"alright get out, the fox is here." eunbi practically dragged her own sister to the door.
"can't you let a woman enjoy her food for once?" the younger whined.
