When Todoroki showed up at his door, Bakugou didn't take a good look at him before letting him in. He saw the duo colored hair and stepped to the side without a second thought. By their third year at UA, their relationship had easily gotten good enough for them to not question why the other showed up at their door before letting them in. An unexpected friendship, but they've gone through a lot together.
"Bakugou... I need a little help," Todoroki said slowly.
Bakugou didn't turn around when he said that. It wasn't unusual for Todoroki to come to him for help. When he felt like he was bothering Midoriya too much, he'd turn to Bakugou. It was usually trivial things, like needing help with homework, or help with a social situation. It bothered Bakugou a bit to be the second choice. However, since he himself would talk to Kirishima before Todoroki, Bakugou couldn't really get onto him for it.
It wasn't until Bakugou sat down on his bed did he realize Todoroki didn't need help over something trivial. Todoroki was battered and bruised. His knuckles we split, had a bleeding nose, among other small cuts and bruises. Which wasn't all that bad, but seeing Todoroki hurt was still jarring and set Bakugou on panic mode.
His panic came out in a rather irritated way instead though. "You're bleeding all over my floor."
Todoroki's hand lightly pinched at his nose in a failing attempt to keep the blood from spilling, and was now running down his arm and dripping to the floor. He started to look down, but then thought better of it. "Apologies," he murmured. "I'll get in trouble if I go to the nurse. You have a first aid kit, right?"
Numbly, Bakugou nodded and got it. "Why come to me though?" He asked as he crouched and pulled the kit out from underneath his bed. "I'm not your best friend, I imagine you'd go to Deku first." Talking didn't really help calm himself down, but it kept himself focused on one thing to the next.
"Ah, I would've, but he'd worry too much," Todoroki said, sitting down when Bakugou gestured at the floor in front of him.
I'm worrying too, asshole, Bakugou bit back the comment. Showing a lot of concern wasn't his style. He's already slipped up too many times around Todoroki. Crushes sucked, and Bakugou hoped he'd get over whatever the hell this was. "Who fucked you up?"
Todoroki slighted jolted back when Bakugou wiped at his face with a wet wipe. "Ah, just someone from another class. They said I wasn't anything without my quirk."
"Did you at least win?" Bakugou rummaged through the first aid kit, wondering why he should even start... Todoroki was such a mess.
Bakugou looked up just in time to see Todoroki smile. "Of course I won." With blood on his face and overall disheveled appearance, he hardly fit the "pretty boy" description everyone seemed to give him. It didn't seem to matter to Bakugou's heart, seeing how it picked up. Todoroki had a frustratingly cute smile.
His gaze dropped before he did something dumb, like staring and blushing. "You say of course, but I'd be able to kick your ass, no sweat."
"Wanna go then?" Todoroki asked, a playful gleam in his eyes.
With a snort Bakugou shook his head and grabbed Todoroki's busted up hand. "You'd be hurting yourself more than me with every hit you make, dumbass." He dabbed at the split knuckles with peroxide. "If you managed to get a hit in at all, that is," he added with a smirk.
Todoroki shoved at him with his free hand, so of course Bakugou shoved back. Soon enough treating Todoroki's wounds was momentarily forgotten in a small wrestling match. Bakugou wasn't one to hold back, but this wasn't a true show of strength. Besides, he feared accidentally hurting Todoroki. If his face and arms had bruises, he without a doubt had more littered underneath his shirt. Bakugou put up a fight, but half-assing it meant Todoroki had gotten him pushed back and pinned down.
