Naomi's POV
First day of 8th grade.
Im so excited to see my friends again!!
I wore black legging with a pastel yellow shirt.
Paired with old skool vans.
I grabbed my hershel backpack and my water bottle. I came down the stairs and my mom asked if im going to join her and my younger sis on the car going to school.
I said i want to walk alone.
Then they went to school already.
I said bye to my father. And started to walk to school when i saw alston walking alone too.
I decided to join him.
"Hey alston!!"
I walk to him.
"Oh hey naomi! Are you walking to school?"
"Yeah i saw you walking alone."
"Are you excited for 8th grade?"
"Educationally? No. But I'm just excited because I gotta se y'all my friends again."
"Same here."
*awkward silence*
"Hey alston"
I asked him nervously to break the awkward silence.
"...? What?"
"Uhh you sure you want to walk with me to school?"
"Yea. Well, walking alone is kinda boring and its great to walk with you inthe first day of school."
"Oh."
It made me smile a little and made
my heart beat so fast.

We reached the school and alston headed to his friends to say hi.
Then i kept walking forward when I
saw ty and cohenj were there.
"Heyyy dudes!! Suuupp??" -me
"Naomiii!!!" Ty said while hugging me.
"Naomi! How did your summer went so far?" -CohenJ
"My summer is kinda great! And yours? How did your summer went?" -me
" just played basketball. You know." -CohenJ
"What about you ty?" - me
" just as same as CohenJ's summer"-ty
"Ohh Naomi, we are going inside now. Ypu better do too. Bye!" -CohenJ
"Byee" -me
Ty waved bye.

I walked inside and stuffed my locker.
When Cambry called my name.
"Naomi!"
I turned around and saw Cambry.
"Cambryy!! I missed youu!"
"So do i! Wanna go to our first class?"
" ughh we already have classes on our first day?"
"Yea lol."
" okay cmon lets go."
"Okayyy"
We were walking to our first class when we walked pass by kade and danny filling their lockers up.
That made me remember i liked danny since 7th grade until now.
"Hey cambry! Walking to your first class?"
Kade said.
"Yea." -cambry
Danny just smiled at her.
And that pricked my heart a bit.
"Anything else i can help with you? We are going to our first class."
"Oh nothing. Enjoy your first class!" Danny said.
We walked away without saying goodbye to them.

Its lunch and as usual,during our classes on the first day of school everyone was happy to see each other again.
Cambry and I sat outside and ate lunch.
Ty,cohen,alston,danny,kade,josh, and reese walked up to our table and asked if they can seat with us since we were the only one who's table was available.
"Hey is your table free?" Reese said.
"Yea yall can sit" i replied.
obviously danny sat beside cambry lol.
Im going to get use to this sometime.
Reese sat beside me and we started to chat some tea. But we used different terms that us two only knows so that nobody can know what we're talking about.
We all talked about our summer and throwback on our 7th grade.
While waiting for lunch to end, i started packing my lunch box and so does others.
I kept looking at danny flirting cambry but reese kept on telling me not to so that i wont get hurt.
But i told himthat i would get used to it in sometime so chill.
The bell rangand we got up from the table.
Cambry and I doesn't have the same schedule bye this period but alston and I does sooooo uhhh my heart kept beating so fast. Alstonand I walked to spanish class together and Im about to die.
He kept on staring at me and I just looked forward so that we wont have an eye contact.
"Hey naomi"
He broke the silence.
"Yea??"
"Why are you blushing" he asked.
"Am I??"
"Yes your cheeks looks pink"

Is that the reason why he kept on looking ay me all this time?
I feel so loved that I didn't noticed that i blushed

"Really?"
"Yeah. What's wrong. Or are you allergic with something?"
"No im not allergic with anything.
There's our classroom."
"Okay."
We got in spanish class he sat quite far from me but i can still see his right side.
I sat near the door and he sat almost on the top right corner of the room.
All this time im just admiring his parent's amazing work.
I feel so safe around him.
After spanish class, I still have two periods until dismissal.
My last period is math UGHHH.
I went inside math class and saw kade and danny.
I sat behind them. I kept on wondering how could i get rid my feelings for danny since he likes my bestfriend and cambry seems to like him too.  I dont want to ruin cambry and I's friendship since she's the closest girl  tomeat school.
Before summer break. I used to like danny more. My feelings for alston was just starting to build up that time. And now, i think that Im losing interest in danny and starting to like alston more.
Perhaps, there is 0% chance of danny liking me back.
Should I avoid him? Or....

Should I confess my feelings to him?
