N° 2.

The move to Sydney was now two months ago but I never thought about the new school, not a single time until today.

My plan on being more confident, because nobody knows me, seems more stupid the more I think about new people and all this stuff but there is no turning back and I have to try it at least.

It could turn well and my last two years of school are going to be good or it can be exactly like all the previous years, tho, i wouldn't mind being independent and having "me-time" again.

The walk to the bus stop wasn't too bad because I was forced by my parents to "get known to the new atmosphere" after we moved in our new house.

When I reached the bus-stop I noticed a small difference... okay it wasn't that small and it wasn't that hard to see but there were a lot of people standing there and I could feel my face losing colour.

I don't know why I suddenly start to get so nervous but it's probably the thoughts about the past that make me feel so uncomfortable.

My feet slowed down a bit when the first person looked at me.

It was a girl, probably my age. She looked at me and if I can read the signs well she's currently looking me up and down. Just a few moments after that more people turned around and looked at me which kinda gave me the feeling as if I am a celebrity or something.

Just when I wanted to sit down on the last free seat at the stop the bus showed up around the corner and stopped right in front of us. There were already people inside the bus and it will definitely get packed more with every other bus-stop... and to be honest... people pressing their bodies against me is the last thing I need for today so I hope that there will be a free seat.

To prevent myself form being in the middle of the crowd I stepped inside as quickly as possible so I could choose the best place to stand. Luckily there was one free seat, which was next to a guy, maybe also my age, left.

"You knew here? 'Cause I haven't seen you before." he asked me after I sat down and the bus drove off again.

"Yeah." I replied and nodded lightly.

"Cool. I'm Luke, by the way." Luke held his hand in front of him for me to shake it and I did.

"I'm Andrea. Just call me Dre or Ree, just however you want."

"I like that name." he said while looking into my eyes, which made me blush, something I never did because of a guy, and I can tell you I don't like this feeling of being complimented. It's probably because I'm not used to it and it's maybe going to change sometime, hopefully. "So I guess since you're new here you moved to this shit-ass city, right? For how long have you been living here now?"

"Two months and I think it's cool here. It's definitely better than my old hometown." I said shrugging.

The bus stopped again, more people stepped in and by now there definitely was no space left anymore.

"In which grade are you in?" I asked Luke, suprised by my ability to talk to people I don't know.

"Eleventh. You?" he replied.

"Me too."

"Cool. We'll maybe have some classes together."

There was an awkard silence between us two and I could feel my cheeks getting their colour back but I couldn't get any words out of my mouth to break this silence.

"Soooo..." , Luke trailed off, "do you need help with finding the principals office? I'd help you if you want."

"Yeah, thanks."

We finally arrived at school and the feeling of having space again was absolutely needed.

Little groups of pupils were standing everywhere and there were definitely more than in the old school. Also all of this reminded me of the movie "21 Jump Street", which I absolutely love, but here are obviously cooler people than in the movie and Luke could be Channing Tatum... ok I'm drifting off.

Luke led me inside the huge building and it wasn't even that much off a walk until we arrived in front off the office.

"I think you know the rest." Luke said and left but turned around to wave lightly.

I knocked two times and immediately stepped in after the principal told me to and sat on the chair for customers.

"Welcome Ms. Reece." Mr. O'Connor greeted me and we shook hands, "I hope you've had a good morning. Ok so let's just start with everything you need to know and so on..."

We continued talking for about 20 minutes when I was finally allowed to leave.

The corridors were completely empty because the bell rang five minutes ago so I already have my first problem; being late. The second one was to find the classroom which wasn't easy at all plus there was nobody here. There are two buildings for this school and the classroom could be anywhere.

That's definitely going to be a long day...
